Lovely loppers!
Great, were light enough for weaklings like me. Did the job and extention allowed for more reach. You also get a spare blade. Great product .

Don't extend handles fully on thick branches
I've been using these for a few weeks on reasonably thick, dry branches, typically up to about 40mm in diameter or a little larger. The tool is robust, and the blades are sharp and stay that way with regular use. However, I recommend avoiding fully extending the telescopic handles, as they tend to bend more under pressure and may eventually break. I usually extend them to the fourth hole (leaving three holes visible), which allows for greater force application with less bending. If you're cutting larger branches, consider investing in a good ratchet lopper instead, as pushing these beyond their limit could easily damage the handles when fully extended. That said, if used within their capacity, these are excellent for the price. The blades perform exceptionally well, but keep in mind that the aluminum handles are the weak point. Use them carefully—don’t extend them fully if cutting thicker branches as you may overload them.On a positive note, mine came with a spare blade and anvil, and contrary to the product photos, there were no holes in the blades. For the cost, I’m very satisfied overall!Another reviewer mentioned a small gap at the back of the blades where the anvil ends. To ensure a clean cut on small branches, use the center of the blade to avoid this gap. For larger branches the gap doesn't matter, position them as far into the blades as possible—this will make cutting much easier. Additionally, check the three bolts securing the anvil when you first receive the tool, as they may need tightening. In my case, one came loose and fell off, so it's worth ensuring they are secure before use.

Its robust and it cut anything I threw at it
I removed a grapevine in our new home with hand secateurs and absolutely destroyed my shoulder and hand for a few days and wasn't prepared to do it again.I purchased this to trim down some of bushes as it is long handled and easier to cut without fear of putting too much pressure onto my shoulder and hand.Everything I pointed these at it cut up to 2 inches in diameter including the grape vine (attached photos) which these cut with very little effort. The branches of the bushes were very easily dispatches and then cut up into much smaller lengths to maximise space in our 240L garden waste bin. They have a spare set of blades in the box but the blades are still as sharp as they were when I started on the bushes. These are not light when you are using them for a protected period of time but light and robust in my opinion do not go together unless they are made from titanium.I would highly recommend these loppers if you have a lot of trees or bushes to trim or tidy up.

Great for gardening!
These are a fantastic bit of kit for the price.Excellent quality and tackled the overgrown, thick brambles in my garden with ease.I like how they extend, which was very handy for hard to reach places and they even come with replacement blades.

Not impressed
I decided not to buy the cheapest, I consider these expensive. The action is stiff, the cut is not clean. Going to bottom of the jaws often leaves only a partial cut, with what’s left crushed and difficult to get through without starting again. Also the long handles don’t seem any stronger than ones for half the price.
