Great gauge that reads in CELSIUS/CENTIGRADE
This is a reliable and accurate gauge.Just be sure to note that it reads in metric Celsius/Centigrade.The warning light comes on at 100° C.Hook up was easy. The temp sender is 1/4 NPT. If using Teflon tape be sure to NOT wrap the end of the sensor.Be careful when installing as the electrical connection stud on the sensor is easily damaged. This is not a failing of the product just inherent in the design. Be sure to use a deep enough socket when installing so there is no pressure on that stud when installing. The included cable is only a few inches long so you will need extra wire for the sensor and/or electrical connection. There are three wires: black (-) & red (+) for power and a green sensor wire

Make sure you order the right unit of measure.
Bought this for a water cooling project. I needed something cheap and easy to read. I accidently ordered Celsius when I needed Fahrenheit. No biggie I need to learn the metric system anyway.

Great Choice for Temp Gauge Along With Excellent Customer Support!
I recently purchased this HOTSYSTEM water temperature gauge for my car, and despite a small incident that occurred during shipping concerning an incorrect gauge, I cannot be more satisfied with my purchase of this water gauge. Not only are HOTSYSTEM gauges very high quality performance parts, but the customer service on their end is absolutely phenomenal. The people there at HOTSYSTEM worked with me as quickly as possible to replace and reship the guage that I originally ordered. I highly recommend this gauge and this company! I am truly grateful and impressed!

NOT ACCURATE DO NOT BUY THIS
I'll start off by saying I do like the gauge itself. It has a built in warning light, the display is nice and bright, but is very susceptible to glare.Major con is it is not at all accurate. I'm lucky I didn't blow my headgasket this weekend at the track. Got the car to 105c which is about 221f. Which is fine, but after checking against my megasquirt which has the reading from the OEM gauge which is accurate, this thing was reading close to 20 degrees F low. Which is aweful. This will be going in the trash and be replaced with something reliable.

Reads Celsius only!
It's in Celsius not Fahrenheit, so if you dont know the conversion might suggest looking for a Fahrenheit guage.
