Decent quality product, quite thick foam though so it will have some effect on the tonality, if you are planning to use it for spoken word then it'll suit you down to the ground, for music it might be a negative for some.What else can I say, it's a solid bit of foam, it fits an sm58 well, reduces plosives and will probably help keep a few 58 balls round instead of dented but it does also darken/warm the sound more than the tights-like material style of pop guard.Still totally useable for music just worth keeping in mind, there will be more transparent options out there.

A bit of a tight squeeze to initially put it over the dome of the mic but once on it fits very snugly.A bit flat and misshaped when initially installed (as they’re supplied vacuum packed) but “rounds off” after a day or so.

Does the job and won't break the bank.Works perfectly with my SE Electronics V7 Dynamic Mic in my live rig.You could also run around your house and poke people with it. It is soft enough that they probably wouldn't mind.
