Thick and comfortable socks
Wow, these are actually good quality socks, thick and I have been wearing them and washing them a lot, and they are holding up very well. I am estimating but I probably wear this sock 8 hours/day walking, climbing in heavy shoes or boots and then they get put in the wash. I am guessing that this sock will last 2-3 months with this type of wear and tear (it has been one month already and they are wearing well). They fit just tight enough to stay up on your legs, but not so tight they are uncomfortable. I had been purchasing a "value pack" of Hanes white socks, but even though they are cheap, they wear out and get a hole in the heel so fast, the lower cost isn't worth it. I also like that these are grey and not bright white, I prefer this color to wear with lots of different colored pants and shoes/boots. The socks are also warm for working/walking outdoors in the cold winter. I don't think I will wear them in the summer and will switch back to the thinner socks for hot summer wear. I like these socks and will purchase again!

Good socks with long useful life.
These socks are great. I ordered 6 pairs so I can have a clean pair for every work day of the week maybe 5 years ago and they’ve held up very well during that time. I recently ordered more to replace them after the elastic wore out. I think getting 5 years out of socks without getting holes or anything is great even washing them all every week. They seem to be about twice as thick as regular store bought socks and they are soft, comfortable and snug. Very happy.

Nice, but tighter than expected.
It seems like a high quality sock - after 1 wash and 1 wearing. However, I find the large (size 9-12) too tight on my size 12 foot. Will try XL next time.1 week later: After wearing a couple days they stretched a bit and feel better. I am probably between sizes, but XL still might be a bit better.

Best socks I've ever bought.
At the time I was searching for socks I had a job where I was moving merchandise by hand in a warehouse setting. Concrete floors. Steel ladders. And it was murder on my feet for the lack of cushioning. These socks did not correct ALL my issues with the job, but they were the best padded and highest functioning socks I could damn well find. Everything in the departments stores were cut rate name brands with thin soles, even on the heels and toes. An exhaustive search online produced much of the same result, with review bashings that mirrored my own finds in the department stores. Then I found Wigwams here on Amazon, and the reviews were a complete 180 on all the others. I decided to give them a shot and ordered four 3-packs. They were the best sock purchase I've ever made for a sock designed for efficiency of daily use. They felt cleaner on my feet longer than other brands, felt springier under my feet, and the elastic never gave out on them. And now, two years later, I'm buying my new set of Wigwams now that the heels are finally starting to fall out of the socks. So, quick math. I washed my socks on average on once every two weeks, over the course of two years. Rounded for ease of calculation, let's say I washed the socks 50 times. The only time I don't wear socks is when I'm asleep or in the shower, so let's say 16 hours of wear per day. So, 50 * 16 = 800 hours of use, per sock, before I developed any problems with them. That's a good purchase. And for everyone, the fabric on the Wigwams are thick enough that, for the first time ever, I had to make sure I washed my socks inside out once in a while because the cast off filth from my foot was being trapped inside the sock during the wash. Once I realized that, and turned my socks inside out for every other wash, the lifetime of use for my socks increased and they stopped feeling yucky again on my feet.

American made great feet care.
Wigwam are the best socks I have purchased I work on my feet 48+ hours a week and they don't let me down. They keep me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They never pull or get crumpled under my feet and they don't slip in my boots. They don't cut of my circulation and I have worked in different versions of them for 10 years or so. Try them they are American made in Vermont and for me that's bringing home the bacon to our families.
