A good solid heavy pen that writes on credit card strips.
I purchased this after trying to find a pen that would write well on the strip on the back of a credit card. This pen came highly recommended by reviews on several websites so I took the plunge and it does a really great job. Really nice to write with.

Perfect for people who hold pens in a funny way -- it's so super-comfy!
I hold pens in a very bizarre way. My thumb bends at the knuckle and is tucked under the pen, with my index finger pressing down on top of the pen and digging into the corner of my thumbnail. This puts a lot of pressure on my thumb which can cause a lot of discomfort. I've never seen anyone else hold a pen this way so it's sort of hard to describe. So when I discovered the Uni-ball Signo 207 Premier pen several years ago, it was like this pen was made for ME! The super-squishy-soft cushioning is AMAZING. If this pen's grip were a mattress it would be a Tempur-Pedic, it's THAT comfortable. Other pens claiming to have a "soft cushioned grip" don't even come close. This is the real deal. When I started my current job 8 years ago I bought one of these pens and never looked back. It is the only pen I use, end of. Everyone in my office knows that my pen is off-limits. I don't let people use it, even for a quick signature here or there -- there's too much temptation for them to "accidentally" walk away with it.I only have 3 quibbles with this pen -- two practical, one aesthetic. My 207 Premier pens last around 3-4 years each; I go through maybe 2-3 ink refills a year, since I use the pen every day. That's actually really good for a pen that cost under $8. When I replace the pens it's not because I lose them but because, after a certain amount of time, that squishy gel cushioning grip begins to break down. It starts to "separate" and become lumpy, and the areas where the most pressure is placed thins out. There is a simple solution to this: Uni-ball could just sell replacement cushioning grips. I'm guessing they don't sell these because they'd prefer people pay more for a new pen.I also don't like that you can't buy this pen with blue ink. If you want blue ink then you have to buy a separate refill pack. I use blue ink because I notarize a lot of documents. I always end up having to buy ink refills anyway because of how much I use this pen, but it would be nice to be able to have the option to have blue ink upfront. The aesthetic downside (if you can call it that) is that the 207 Premier is now only available in silver. Years ago you could also find it in metallic blue and metallic pink. I actually own the blue one. The cushioning grip eventually broke down, so I bought a second (silver) 207 Premier, removed the grip from the silver one and put it on the blue one. That worked for a couple of years, until that grip started breaking down. Then I bought a third (silver) 207 Premier and tried the same thing, but I wasn't able to remove the cushioning grip from the new silver pen. So now I just use the silver pen. It's not a big deal -- obviously the color of the pen's case has no impact on its usability -- but I found the blue pen easier to find on my desk! All in all, I can't recommend this pen enough. I've actually given this pen as gifts -- and the recipients love them! I have yet to meet someone who doesn't.

Nice pen for journal writing (and large hands)
After years of "writing" using computers and iPads I decided to try writing three pages a day by hand in a notebook. i soon discovered that most pens are not comfortable for writing so much and I experienced sore fingers and cramps in my hand. Some probably due to not writing for so long but some definitely due to the pens I was trying. They were too thin, too short, and not comfortable. So I shopped..and shopped. I came across the 207 Premier. It is an extremely comfortable pen with a nice grip and adequate length and width for large hands. It glides nicely on the paper and still feels good after 30-60 minutes of writing. I haven't subjected it to any extreme conditions but it works well for daily writing and note taking.

Most comfortable pen out there!
This pen's gel grip is like no other. So squishy but not too much where it's not easy to write

Best Pen Ever
I highly recommend the Uniball 207 Premier. This is by far the best pen I have ever used. It writes smooth and easy. It feels nice in the hand. Substantial but not too heavy. The cushy grip really adds to the feel and comfort. Brushed metal casing makes it look like a very expensive pen. I am always happy with my writing when I use the 207 Premier. The closest I have ever come to the 207 is the Pilot G2 Limited, but the Pilot pen (too heavy, not cushy, and doesn't write as smooth) doesn't even touch the Uniball 207 Premier.

Thought I was getting a box...
The grip on the pen is comfortable. The ink is released very smoothly and provides clean lines. I have experienced some skipping on some surfaces. The reason I gave 4 stars is because one of the pictures displayed is a box of 6 pens, which is what I thought I was purchasing. I was disappointed to find that I only received one pen. It was partially my fault because I didn't realize the quantity listed was "single". I just assumed based on the pictures posted that I was getting a box of 6. I will pay more attention in the future.
