These aren't top of the line, so if that's what you're expecting, then move along. These won't cover your entire step either. They won't be thick and plushy. But.... they are great for that dog that is terrified of steps and needs a little extra something to help them get over that fear. They have a nice stick to the back that is adjustable. They haven't peeled up yet and are doing what they are advertised to do. The quality is more commercial looking than residential. They're easy to install and provide the function I needed. Overall, they don't look bad. I did have to trim the edges down and "connect" them together to make one long one for my step. They are dog approved!

The media could not be loaded. Needed runners to keep our dog from slipping on, and falling down, steps. These runners were perfect for that purpose. After install, our dog easily went up and down with no problems. As stated in other reviews, the runners came folded in the box and I was concerned the folds wouldn’t lay flat and adhere to steps. So I laid the runners flat in several stacks and weighted the stacks down overnight. The next day the runners appeared flat and I installed them with no problem. They adhered well to the steps with no bumps. Despite what I read in some other reviews it was extremely easy to remove the film on the back and apply these to the steps. If you somehow remove the “arrow” on the back that lifts the film up, just put a small piece of duct tape on the film to help lift it up. Had to peel a couple of runners up to reposition and this was easy. They didn’t leave any residue on wood and still adhered when reapplied to step. Waited 2 months to submit this review to make sure they were staying down and durable. So far, so good. None are coming up and appear to be wearing well. I did order the set of 2 runners as well to cover our step landing which is odd shaped. Cut one runner in half to fit and better cover landing. Runner was easy to cut.

Until we finish our basement these treads are super useful. They totally soften the sound of my husbands heavy footsteps. They are easy to apply and for the most part, stay put. Ergo the 4 stars. A great (and safe) solution for loud cold stairs.

I needed something to add to my stairwell that wouldn’t only look nice but also stay in place. I have small grandchildren that love to climb the stairs. These stay put and look really nice on my dark brown stairs. Easy to vaccume and swap out with other colors. Quality is great and you can’t beat the price. They fit perfectly.

This rug is beautiful, I was skeptical at first but I loved it more when I got it and it doesn’t stick..very easy to lay and remove

We got these for our senior dog. They worked better than we expected! They stick so we'll to the wood stairs we didn't need to use tape or glue. I am totally satisfied!

I bought these for metal steps so my dog would be able to maneuver the stairs. The product was well packaged and arrived on time. The adhesive is not as sticky as I would've wanted. The edges on the sides of the tread started to lift up after a few days and the material is fraying a little bit. Maybe on wooden risers it would stick better but the fraying would still be a problem.

We recently moved into a house with wood stairs that my little dog kept sliding and falling down when trying to climb up. After a few spills she was really nervous about using the stairs at all so I went on Amazon looking for a solution. I had 16 steps that I needed treads for and I couldn’t find a seller that offered that correct amount of treads for my situation. When I found this seller I was so pleased to see that they offered the option to purchase either 15 treads or 2 on their own, so I purchased both, giving me 17 total.The installation process was really easy. I first wiped down each step with some cleaning solution and paper towels. The treads did arrive with some rug tape but I decided not to use it. The adhesive backing on the treads was sticky enough to keep them adhered to my stairs, even though the corners do come up slightly but not enough to cause a tripping hazard. My wooden stairs have a raised edge about 1.5 inches on the front of each step which was quite uncomfortable to step on with bare feet. I wanted to cover this edge when placing the treads but was worried that they may not adhere properly since they’re technically not laying perfectly flat, but they’re flexible enough that this wasn’t an issue and they adhered perfectly. Now the stairs are a million times more comfortable to walk on barefoot and no longer a death trap for my little dog! She now fearlessly bolts up and down the stairs.I was worried that cleaning the treads might be a nightmare because of the fabric. It looks really rough and scratchy like a heavy duty doormat but the material is actually much softer than it appears. After a month of use, we had some dog hair, lint, and debris that needed to be cleaned off the treads. I used the hose on my Dyson with a brush attachment to vacuum each of the treads and everything came up really easily. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this product.
