ELECTOP 2 Pack USB 2.0 A Male to USB B Mini 5 Pin Female Adapter Converter

While installing an aftermarket radio, I found that the female USB A port in my center console leads to a male USB mini connector. I bought this adapter, which effectively lets me use the cable as a USB A extension cable, which works perfectly for my radio, and allows me to connect my phone or other peripherals to my radio from the center console.The need for this cable is definitely very niche, but it was perfect for my use case and would recommend it to anyone needing to do the same.

I used one of these connectors for a car stereo install, and it worked perfectly.

The value to get two of these for the price is fantastic. I bought these to update software on 40 card readers that had a mini usb connector but my laptop had a full size usb only. These worked great and I gave them a good workout unplugging and plugging each one over 80 times. Great products and very sturdy and durable.

Worked as it should

So I replaced the stock head unit in my GMC 2011 Sierra. There was a USB plug for it that had a micro USB end. The new Android head unit that I bought had a standard USB female plug. This adapter allowed me to keep the stock USB plug in my console and connect it to the new Android head unit. It's not a quick charge or anything like that, but it works and I'm happy with it. Plus I don't think that issue has anything to do with this adapter.

I know kind of weird that I'm writing a review for a mini adapter, but I come across many electronics and stuff like this, many times their cheaply made and the pin connector usually will break off down the road even without any neglect from the person.With these I decided to leave a review because these fit excellently, it's nice and snug into the female port, again this may not seem like a big deal, but down the road you're going to appreciate a well-made adapter.Five stars for this one, and I don't give my 5 stars out that easily LOL.Seriously people, this is a great adapter and you get two of them, very well-made, so well made that I actually wrote a review for an adapter.Think about how many times you buy an adapter and it gets loose and you have to order another one every few months, save yourself the hassle and the money by ordering something made of quality.Hope just helped someone make a purchase when they're looking for a female adapter converter.

Did not work for converting the cable that came with a Canon GP-E2 (mini B) to USB-A at a Windows PC. Neither in the pack functioned for data transfer or even to appear in Windows. Buying an actual mini to USB-A cable (also from Amazon) did the trick.

Received earlier than expected. Works perfectly. Quite content with product.
