This knife is a beast and stays sharp
I put this thing to the test right out of the box in MT on a mule deer. It held it's edge better than anything I've used on deer before. It will need sharpening about once or twice though if butchering a whole deer which is not uncommon. I highly recommend these knives. To me they are the best value on the market and I've tried quite a few of them. The US steel is the best in the world. Stop buying cheap chinese steel crap if you want a good knife. Also, go buy the Esee Junglas. It's another badass for bigger serious jobs and great for camping or around the ranch.

My fav EDC knife.
My friend told me I'd like this knife. I rolled my eyes, but bought it anyway, because I liked the look - instantly became my favorite EDC knife. The size and weight are perfect for me (5'10, avg) might be a bit small for larger hands. Incredibly sharp, amazing lifetime tranfeable warranty, durable, and high quality. My handle came grey, but I soaked the micarta in cutting board oil (let it pool and rest on each side for an hour) and it developed a lasting and beautiful black.

Real Solid knife!
First impression of this knife when I picked it up/handled was the most solid knife I own. It’s heavier than a Kalinga or Ka-Bar. My first ESEE knife and certainly won’t be my last. I've seen EDC in a lot of comments but it's rather large for an EDC for me. The forever warranty sold me and it’ll be my new clam shucker. Clams destroy every blade I’ve tried with that warranty who cares. Got the knife for less than $90 dollars and should have bought the last 2.

A good everyday knife
Knives are similar to cars and women. Some you like. Some you don't. I like this knife. It's a good all-around size. Very sharp, very tough. Not difficult to sharpen. It does require some type of anti-rust coating on the blade, however, as it is made of 1095 steel. I carry this knife when I'm working in my pasture. If I were to go hiking I might rather take the bigger ESEE 5 and a smaller pocket knife, but for everyday use this is a good knife.

Very nice knife for bushcrafting. Also use in kitchen. Buy before price goes up.

Everything I expected
First impressions- awesome! I bought this version without a sheath. I do leatherwork so no big deal. I will fashion a sheath. This knife is everything I expected and more. The size is perfect for bushcraft. After having bought this one for my outdoor adventures I sure as heck am going to get the esee 5 for my survival vest. Love this knife.

no debi comprarlo
