Easily holds book in place
This book holder truly is a gem. I holds open pages of paperback books as well as hard bound. I LOVE this as I donate platelets every two weeks and can read while my donating arm is unavailable to hold the book.

People are too harsh on negatives
This is perfect for lying on your back and reading in bed.Pros- lightweightholds shape wellCan be held in different positionsCons- will not hold book on it's ownthe page notches are weakthis is not a book holder as much as a book "positioner"Overall, Im glad I got it. Too flimsy!
I was surprised at how small and light this book holder is. I thought it would have some weighted material inside at the bottom so it could stand on its own. It is featherlight and if you have a large or heavy book you will need to hold onto it (which defeats the purpose) or reinforce it with a pillow behind it. I used my “Bucky” heating pad and safety pinned the book holder to it so it would not flip over. I can say one good thing about it, the page holders worked well and it was easy to turn pages as you read. I would recommend the company to put some rice, buckwheat or other heavy granular material in the base for more stability .

Nothing like the photo. Poorly made
The fabric is great, but this looks nothing like the photo. I have an older version that works wonderfully but this new one is not the same. Using it for a book holder. The holding area for the book is very thin and the page holders are too far apart for even a hard cover book, let alone a paperback. Very disappointed in this product and wish I had not purchased it.

Suitable for a Pad, Perhaps
I was hoping for a book holder, but this will not sustain cloth-bound volumes and certainly could not manage a new paperback. In fact, one of the tabs arrived bent in the wrong direction.On a positive note, my wife is using it for her iPad — but the foam is not worth the $29.99 price.

I can pick it up with one hand it’s a nice pillow material
I’m not one to give reviews but I had too with this. I recently broke my wrist and elbow needed surgery. Will be a 3 to 6 month recovery. Wanted something to sit on my lap so I could use my iPad, sit my phone on so I can FaceTime with family or just talk on the phone without holding it. Reading a book is really nice holds book open for you. Has a few little pockets in back I keep my earphones in etc. when not using I stand my iPad on it and my phone next to it on my side table easy for me to access. I received it the day before my surgery and used right away to keep somethings accessible. In case you haven’t notice I love this product it works for me.
