I was looking for a grab rail that will double as a small towel rail, and this fits the bill: getting out of the bath / shower is getting increasingly nerve-wracking. This arrived with all the fittings but I felt the screw were too short, so I used slightly longer ones. If you're fitting this, make sure that when you screw the fitting plate onto the grab bar, you (1) remember to put the chrome-plated covers on first...and the right way on!...and (2) you locate the screw holes where they're accessible once you've drilled and rawlplugged the wall: if you put them under the grab bar, it'll be difficult to screw into the wall. Easily fitted in less than half an hour, looks good and - most importantly - will do the job!

The plumber who fitted this for us in our shower, said that it was easy to install but the screws into the wall were insufficient length, so he used some others which were longer into the wall but fitted the screwholes in the unit. The result seems quite sturdy, though we have never had to use it in anger at present, but I cannot answer how sturdy the original item would have been as it has been altered.It looks great in place and seems to be value for money though it has only been installed for 2 months now so perhaps I ought to return to this review in a few months time after it has settled in.

Solid bathroom bars. Previous reviewers mention poor quality supplied screws & rawlplugs. They were right. Use your own high quality ones instead of the supplied plugs which spin in the wall-holes you drill and the supplied pos-screws strip really easily. This still gets five stars as they are a solid bit of kit otherwise. The end-plates have been slightly crimped to click into place over the wall attachment plates after wall-mounting which is MUCH better than previous bars I have fitted.

I didn't want to put up a shower handle - but I had to and this is the most stylish one I could have chosen. Easy to install and sturdy and so far, it does appear to be stainless / rustless. Recommend.

The safety rail was put on our landing at the top of the stairs as my wife is becoming unsteady.the rail gives her a bit more confidence.

Throw the supplied fixings away and use some longer screws and plugs. Other than the rubbish fixing this does what I need.

After a few weeks the rail part became 'shoogly', so I'll have to check it out as the fixings are ok.

Good product, well made and does the job.
