Melamine Dinnerware Set -12pcs Outdoor and Indoor Plates and Bowls Set ,Service for 4, Dishwasher Safe, Blue Flower

I bought this set because of its beautiful, blue-and-white Spanish design.It looks like the gorgeous ceramic tiles of Granada, Spain.I was worried that when I got it, the design would be a different color blue, or not as vibrant as in the pictures on the Amazon website. I'm so glad that was not the case!Had to laugh at the video of the woman wearing the "Las Colinas" (a suburb of Dallas) tank top unboxing the dishes and talking about how the main things that sold her were that her kids couldn't break them and she could throw them in the dishwasher. I realized she was clueless about what a beautiful design the dishes are!Even though they're not made of china or ceramic (wish I could find some in the same pattern that are), I can still use them every day OR for dress-up and enjoy them with a glass of great Spanish wine or tortilla espanola! Ole!

These are great plates and bowls, withstanding normal household use and hand washing.They are NOT microwave safe.The plates and bowls get much hotter than the food in the microwave, so we only use them for eating, not reheating.

I have only had these a week and used them once but they seem quite sturdy and are light weight. We put in an outdoor kitchen and needed some outdoor dishes. These fit the bill. They are very nice looking and don't appear to be melamine instead of ceramic (at first look anyway). I'm hoping the color, which is lovely BTW, remains with repeated washings. So far I'm very happy with them.

Though these were ceramic or glass. Not..these are plastic...just be aware...read description carefully..

Great pattern, quality, weight and durability. Totally ok to put in dishwasher. Bought 4 sets!

I bought this set to go with an existing set i have. The pattern is almost a perfect match, this one is just a bit lighter in color than the original one I bought. It is a little lighter in weight too. I don't use it in the microwave so I think it will be fine.I love the pattern and color of the set. It really looks like it could be stoneware. It's very pretty on the table.A nice ,affordable, set , a little fancier than most of what you find elsewhere.

I really like the design, colors & durability. Dishwasher safe too.
