5 Star Orange Color
I like the delicate size of the lights and the fact that I got an actual orange shade. I made a mistake on my first purchase with another brand that you could change the color of the lights. In theory that was fine however the orange was faded might be the proper word but some of the lights were yellow on the same string —not orange and not consistent. Now I am a happy Gator fan and I can put my blue lights in one cloche type glass covering and the true orange in the second smaller glass cloche. These perform all the flashes, off and ons, have a timer and a smaller remote—but they work perfectly and I have true orange and blue as I wanted. Highly recommend

Beautiful
I bought these for Halloween. I wrapped them around a witches broom and used it as decoration. It was perfect. The lights are bright, and have multiple settings to get the effect you want. They are easy to use and the battery lasted the entire Halloween season. I loved the bright purple. Exactly what I wanted.

Not as bright as other sets, but I like the remote and timer
I bought this so that I’d have a timer for these lights, which are on a privacy trellis covered with artificial leaves on my porch. I had some other lights, but they didnt have a timer, no remote, were a bright harsh white, and only half as long. This trellis is on my porch, which has beautiful warm white lights around the ceiling, so the super bright white didnt go well colorwise, and I needed two sets to cover both Trellises. The other lights around the ceiling are on a timer, and I thought it would be good to have these on the same lighting schedule. These are very long too, at 33 feet (I think). They take three AA batteries and the package says they’re good for outdoor use as well. So all that is great. The batteries last a decent amount of time. I’d be happier to get more use out of each set of batteries, but this is okay. The remote is easy to use—no confusion about what setting you’re on. It’s the timer that is really easy and simple. You just hit the timer button and six hours later they go off. There’s no ability to have them come on automatically but with the battery life, I don’t mind that.My only complaints are that these are not very bright. The bright white set I had before really produced a decent amount of light. These are nowhere near as bright. I’m not using them for reading light, so it’s not that big a deal, but I’d still be happier with them if they were a bit brighter. They do look beautiful tucked inside the leaves, though, and one set covered both trellises (about 7 feet by 3 feet). I haven’t had any problems with rain getting on them, so they seem to handle outdoor use just fine.I’ve ordered two more sets for a couple of wall art pieces I’ve made that will hang pretty high up on walls with a vaulted ceiling. The main reason for that purchase as because of the remote control. Those pieces will be so high that I’d need to use a ladder to turn on a set of lights without a remote. This remote has performed well with no malfunctioning at all, so as long as I do t run them six hours per night, shouldn’t have to use the ladder very often—only to change the batteries.I’m happy with these. The price is fair. The timer and remote work very wellThey could stand to be a bit brighter, but they’re good enough. I’m happy with this purchase.

Exactly What I Needed, A Must Have!
I purchased 3 Vickerman Unlit Natural Alpine Trees. The tress come lit but my experience is they never have enough lights, the wires are thick, you must plug them in and if they go out, you're stuck with them on the tree (ugly). So, I decided to give these Twinkle Star fairy lights a try. They are perfect. I used 4 sets of 300 lights total for my 3 trees. I wired them to each individual branch (more on that below). They are beautiful. I've received so many compliments and everyone thinks the trees were professionally lit.Because of these Twinkle Star fairy lights, my trees are now perfectly pre-lit for every season to come. That said, putting them on the tress takes finesse. Especially if you're wrapping each branch as I did. The thin wire made wrapping easy for molding to the branches BUT I warn you that tangling is the devil of this process. If you go in knowing to be diligent in avoiding the "tangleation" of it all, you'll be fine.Tips:*Turn on the lights to give perspective and keep the batter pack in your pocket as you string. This helps prevent the tangling as you circle the tree.*Keep the lights on the card as you string to help the wire stay in order. Again, tangling is your nemesis. At first I put it on my wrist but soon, it strangle my arm like a boa and I could barely get it off over my hand.*If the wire kinks, Go With It! It will not show or hinder the performance so tighten the kink/knot and continue.*If you do get super tangled, relax, grab some wine/tea and walk away for a bit. Then uncoil the tangled wire. Walk it away from the tree and untangle, utilize the "go with the kink/knot approach. You'll be back on track.*Take your time. In the pictures you see my wires are loose in areas. I've since "tightened up" my work however, they are pretty and look like part of my beaded garland anyway.*Finally, I wrapped the battery packs in gold foil and zip tied them to the tree trunks out of site.Sorry for the long review and tips but I want everyone to know how worth it these lights are. If I can do it, I promise you can do it too.Merry Happy Holidays!
