this remote control shutter is easy to use. you just connect it to your camera and it's good to go.button feels a little weak though. sometimes I only meant to press once and it ends up double or triple pressing or recognized as holding.other than that it's okay

Works perfectly for my Sony
I have been using this thing quite a bit and it has not failed me once. We will see how it holds up long term versus the Sony wireless. Up to this point it is a great alternative to the much more expensive wireless remotes. Even though it's wired it includes an extension which I have not used yet. The locking on the shutter button works everytime for longer exposures in Bulb mode.The one thing I DO NOT LIKE, but that is my shooting style, is that when you push the shutter button it causes the camera to focus every time, a lot like the half shutter focus feature on cameras. I am not a fan of that as I always use back button focus and usually have my focus set before I take the very first photo and do not need to refocus unless I completely change compositions. As far as I know, this feature can not be turned off, so if you are a back button focuser type picture taker this might be quite annoying. Best bet is set your focus then turn the cameras focus to manual.

Works with A7iv and zeapon micro 2 plus slider
So I bought this to see if it would work for my time lapses. I can connect my Sony a7iv to my Zeapon Micro 2 plus camera slider and it opens up the feature on the Zeapon app to let the app control the camera for time lapses with the slider moving with each photo it takes for the time lapses. So win win. It's plenty Ling enough for the camera to go back n forth on the slider. But has an extension cable if needed. Also has a shutter button but I don't need it.
