Bottleless Water Cooler Hot and Cold Water Dispenser for Offices & Homes (Black)

Water coolers are far more common in Europe and it was really hard for me to find a good one here in the US. Thank god I found Drinkpod Onyx online. It is exactly what I was looking for. Does the job and looks beautiful. I only wish they offered installation services on their website but they did refer me to someone who helped me with that. Highly recommended!

I purchased this in July 2022. It came in, it's beautiful, connected easily to my water line but the "butons", really just pictures on the cellophane surface, seemed difficult to operate but I figured I'd get used to them. I haven't they are just difficult to use and they don't operate consistently. I noticed that sometimes when I hit the cold water selection, I would actually get steaming HOT water even though I hadn't unlocked the hot water! This would be dangerous if you have small children but I do not. So, again, something I could learn to live with.That's the way it went until October. Then the cold water stopped working. The compressor NEVER engages, the cold water indicator does not come on and when you get "cold" water to dispense rather than HOT it is luke warm, I assume from sitting inside the machine by the preheathed water which does still work. I quickly check Amazon, nope I'm past the return date.So I call DrinkPod. I get a VM stating all of our representatives are busy please leave your name, number and a short description of the issue and we will return your call. I leave the requisite information and await my call back. 2 days later still nothing so I call again, leave a message again, no call back but listening to the message, hey they have e-mail support! Please e-mail us at S U P P O R T at Drink .... Pod dot com. If you ever call, you will know exactly why I typed it that way. Days later, no call back, no e-mail back NOTHING.Ok, Maybe I'm calling at a bad time.Call Monday 8:00 AM central time. Same.Call Monday 12:00 PM central time. Same.Call Monday 4:00 PM central time. Same.Call Tuesday 8:00 AM central time. Same.Call Tuesday 12:00 PM central time. Same.Call Tuesday 4:00 PM central time. Same.Call Wednesday 8:00 AM central time. Same.Call Wednesday 12:00 PM central time. Same.Call Wednesday 4:00 PM central time. Same.I left a message with the requested information EVERY TIME! I have NEVER received a call back!My conclusion, they do not have any customer support personnel and they don't care about their customers.My advice, STAY AWAY from DrinkPod! Stay FAR FAR away!!!Amazon, you need to stop selling this product!ETA UPDATEWell they have had my drinkpod and my money for over 7 months and still I don't have a resolution, no E-mail, no phone call.So I have never heard back from them and they never returned my drinkpod. I believe that is called THEFT!So, yeah, they stole my money!

I have only had for a few days, but here is my initial review.Pros: Very easy to set up, no plumber needed. Water comes out refreshingly cold with no weird tastes from filter, and the hot comes out between 180°F and 185°F (82°C to 85°C); perfect for hot drinks or instant soups. It does have the safety button on the hot, to reduce chance of accidentally triggering and getting burned. Light and heater for hot side can be switched off on back of unit to conserve energy. You can run filtered water line directly from unit to other machines like ice machine or coffee maker.Cons: Dispensing push tabs seem a little flimsy, as they can be easily moved back/forth and side/side.If using hot side frequently, the heater kicks on and sounds like a gas station cappuccino machine.Seller is stellar for customer service. My unit was slightly damaged from shipping, and seller offered to replace the damaged part and compensate for inconvenience.

This is not a quality made machine.1- the cold water is not very cold (52 degrees) vs refrigerated water 35-40 deg.2- the mechanisms are not built to last.3- in less than 3 weeks the guy hot water safety broke.4- After taking another week to get a replacement part the 30 day window is closed.5- Now no water is coming out.I’ve been on the phone with the company but can’t resolve the problem.$400 out the window/ down the drain!

Our old Drinkpod dispenser needed to be replaced after many year of reliable use. We order this dispenser in hopes that it would be good despite some of the bad reviews..I've had this since July of 2024 and it has been reliably working since then. The cold button outputs cold water. the hot water puts out very hot water, and the room temperature puts out warm water.The amount of water outputted is based on which button is pressed. Cold has 2 buttons, one which is about 6 oz of water, and the pitcher output. The Hot has the same size but require holding the button down to output it vs a single push. The room temperature water is defaulted to be pitcher so if your filling a glass, a button has to be pressed to stop it from overflowing.There is a base water capture in case of overflow. It is a good size, easy to remove and put back in by sliding it in and out.The noise level is acceptable. When refrigerating the water you can hear it turn on.. as well as when heating.Overall I'm happy with this water dispenser. Definitely recommend it.

This machine in theory is great, in practice not so much. Got the machine to fit under my bar. It fit and worked great for one day. The next day it started leaking from the bottom. Tried contacting the seller, no answer for 2 days; tried to return, they wanted me to pay shipping on a prime listing; contacted Amazon they gave me the run around for 2 days. Eventually Amazon did stand behind and refunded my money. THANK YOU AMAZON! Figured I'm not out anything so I tore it apart tonight. The picture is what I found. The cold water tank is deformed like a pressure build up was going on. Hooked it up to water to see where it was leaking and got a shower from the top of the tank. Would love to try again but I'm nervous now reading the reviews and after dealing with the company's non-existant customer service. Thought maybe if I posted this Drinkpod would respond with an answer if this is an issue they're working on. Right now I would not recommend.
