Awesome alcohol markers
I love these markers. They do bleed through paper but if you’re using a thicker piece these are for you! The colors are vibrant. Good price for the quality.

Good quality markers
These markers are alcohol and I was worried about the smell of the alcohol and if it’s to strong but the smell is not bad. I can’t smell the alcohol unless I put the marker to my nose. There good quality and they do bleed through the paper. I really like the quantity it’s a lot of markers and different colors. There’s different shades of brown, green, blue and many more. The design of the markers is two sided with a brush tip that has a point so you can make small details and a chisel tip that’s thicker so you can color bigger spaces faster. You can blend lighter shades with darker shades and is blends well it also comes with a colorless blender to help you blend the colors. And it comes with a thank you card with spaces to test the color so you know what the color looks like.

Vibrant and pigmented
These markers are great for the price, very juicy and pigmented. Amazing and easy to color with as they flow nicely and no streaks even when coloring large areas. I do enjoy coloring with them, only con for me is the smell. They have a very strong smell. Alcohol markers are expected to have a smell but I have used other brands that aren’t as overpowering, I would keep that in mind.

I love Caliart
I absolutely love Caliart markers! Their vibrant, smooth, and highly pigmented colors make every project come to life. Whether I’m working on detailed coloring pages or creative designs, these markers glide effortlessly on the paper, leaving a professional finish. The dual tips are a game changer—the broad tip is perfect for filling larger spaces, while the fine tip provides precision for intricate details. I also appreciate the color-coded caps, which make finding the right shade quick and easy. Plus, the durability of these markers ensures they last a long time, even with frequent use.Caliart markers are a fantastic choice for artists and coloring enthusiasts alike, delivering exceptional quality at a great value. Highly recommend!

10/10 LOVE THESE!
I think this is an excellent paint pen set. I love that it comes with the color test papers to see what the colors looks like before using them. This is perfect for budding artists or even professional artists. I love the versatility of the pens with different sized tips. The value and quality is excellent. The colors are vibrant and beautiful with a great variety. I highly recommend this.

Great starter markers that won’t break the bank!
I really like these markers! They flow very nicely, are beautifully pigmented and do not have a strong smell. I do wish it had a bit more color variety but for my first set of alcohol markers I think they are great. Very good for beginners and a decent price especially when you can get them on sale.

great color selection, good quality!
So I've gotten Caliart markers before in their 120 set, and I honestly quite liked them when before I got larger sets of ohuhu markers. This set has a nice range of colors (and even seems to not have some of the 120 colors, so it's not 80% dupe colors) and lots of greens. I do wish there were more purples though! They layer/blend well with each and there's enough colors to help with creating gradients or shadows. The quality is as good as I can remember, with the tips being rather firm most of the time. The caps are a little hard to get off though sometimes, so do be aware if you have any type of hand issues. If you open the markers are specific way, you may also get some tiny ink sprays.Just to say, these markers will bleed, especially in popular coloring books. They also will bleed through cardstock (albeit not as bad). So, just be aware of that as well.*Bag seen with markers does not come with actual set, that is my own personal bag!

I wanted to love them
I wanted to love these markers. I don't hate them, but I don't love them. One of my biggest gripes is that the colorless blender is already dried up after less than 2 weeks of use. This might be a deal breaker for me because I haven't used it enough for it to dry up already and it concerns me that the colors will also start drying up as quickly. I have ten year old Copics and year old Mai Moi's and Ohuhu's and the colorless blenders are still juicy or working well so this is super disappointing. They should consider providing 2 blenders and they should certainly last longer than 2 weeks. The other cons: The bag is useless. These markers should be stored horizontally yet they come in a bag stored vertically. Easy solution is to turn the bag on its side during storage. While you're using the markers and the bag sits upright, there's no support whatsoever to keep the markers from sliding around and falling under the others which is annoying. Even my cheap alcohol markers have support/slots to keep them in place. I would prefer a cardboard box to this bag.Another con is the color selection. While 168 sounds like a lot of options, some of the colors are so similar that you literally can't tell them apart. It would have been more beneficial to add some pastels or florescents instead of such similar shades. So. Much. Green. So few pink and purple.Another really annoying thing is that when removing a cap, very often the entire marker container comes apart so instead of the nib, you're seeing the entire core and and once that happens, it will continue to happen with that particular color which is beyond frustrating, especially when you're trying to work fast. Now you've got to snap the marker back together and carefully try to remove the cap only and not the entire core.It would have been nice if they included a swatch sheet that listed color names and numbers like shown in the product images, but instead they give you a chintzy, blank "color test page" with no color names or numbers which I didn't bother using. Instead, I had to sort & order the colors before creating my own swatch sheet and then figure out which color was missing, which I thankfully found had slipped under the others.Lastly, for the cons is the cap color verses the actual color. While this seems to be a thing with many alcohol markers, it's especially a thing with these Caliarts. You MUST create a swatch sheet which I generally do with all my coloring media anyway, but do not rely on the cap color without referencing your swatches because you will be sadly mistaken until you use them enough to be familiar with the colors. Not a deal breaker, just an annoyance.Ok, on to the pros. The ink is JUICY, beautiful and streak free even when coloring large areas. There are many gorgeous colors and they blend nicely. The little tabs on the caps do help to keep the markers from rolling off your surface. The chisel tip provides a fine and broad stroke depending on the angle and the brush tips are reversible which helps extend the life of your markers, provided the ink doesn't dry up first.Since the colorless blender dried up so quickly, I was able to remove the brush tip and add a few drops of isopropyl alcohol to give it a little more life, but the actual solution is not strictly alcohol so it doesn't work nearly as well as I'd hoped. I think the blender solution contains water and glycerine which I have on hand and might try, but I still haven't decided if I'm going to keep these markers or send them back yet.If you're a beginner and wanting a large set to practice with, this is a decent set at a decent price. If you're more experienced and color frequently, this is still a good backup set for trying new techniques and patterns or for filling in large spaces when you don't want to use up your more expensive markers.
