Surprised me, and I'm old school!
The media could not be loaded. Expected this to be a gimmick, so rather than find out miles from home I tested it on a old bit of tube against a conventional patch, with the repair on the seam which is the hardest part to repair apart from around the valve, (and also happens to be the same location as I needed to make a proper repair on my road bike inner tube), this seemed a good place to try.I roughened up the area well for both patches, applied the pre-glued patch, then applied glue to the tube for the conventional patch, allowed it to become tacky and applied the conventional patch. The video shows me attempting to remove both patches ten mins after applying them. I had to remove the audio, sorry.I managed to remove the conventional patch quite easy in one piece, I'm good with patches, I've been doing them 40yrs with very few failures, this seemed a bit easier than most however.I struggled to eventually remove the pre-glued patch, indeed, I couldn't take it off as a complete patch, it came away in four very stretched parts, holding well till the end.Neither removals damaged the tube, so another patch could be applied if needed, as can be seen in the picture.Being pleased with the result I applied one of the new pre-glued patches to my road bike which had a puncture caused by a rough weld edge where the rim is joined inside, so there is no internal soft tire surface holding the patch hard against the tube, yet the patch continues to hold well even after a good 5ml ride on gravel, bumps, rocks and stones. It was such a rough and bouncy ride my stand fell apart, but the patch is still holding. I pump my tired to 35psi and they are 27.5" MTB foldable tires with puncture resist tape built in, the tubes are just standard cheap tubes.I've now moved the new pre-glued patches to my main road toolkit, this saves me having to keep checking the glue solvent is still usable as once opened that stuff evaporates within a few weeks/months, the new patches also take up a lot less kit space as I don't need the glue, yet I have three times as many patches!Time will tell how well the patches fair in storage due to age, if the glue remains sticky or not after a year or two in my toolkit. But either way I'd be no worse off than with conventional patches after that time, but in the meantime I've been converted!

Puncture repair
The larger square patches are great, the smaller ones are as sticky

Worst product I’ve ever purchased
So I bought these for ease of use while out cycling,Out on a ride I get a puncture, there I was thinking that’s no issue I’ve got easy to use repair kit, no glue needed just stick it on, wait 5 minutes for it to set and pump my tire back up.5 minutes later I pump my tire up, set off riding to only 30 seconds later have no air left in my tire, I tried a different patch to only have the same conclusion. The glue is horrible in them, they’re a weird material that doesn’t stretch with your tire once inflated and they’re 100% a waste of money. Any bike owner stay the hell away from this product.

Adhesion inconsistent
Needed a repair outfit for bicycles anyway as a backup in case of a puncture, but also needed one to repair an inner tube on a friend's wheelchair. It's a small front wheel with a wheelbarrow size tyre and tube. The tube had a tiny hole from a hawthorn type thorn, which I removed from the tyre. I've repaired many bike punctures in the past with patches and rubber solution (the old-fashioned way!) so not a complete novice. No instructions included... Prepared the area thoroughly with scratcher, patched the hole and used a roller to ensure the patch was firmly pressed onto the tube, right out to the edges. It seemed to hold OK so after a brief wait in case it needed to cure, inserted the tube, a few pump strokes and remounted the tyre. Not easy on the 8 inch rim so levers are essential. Pumped up to pressure and hiss of air said start again. I'd nipped the tube with a lever so repaired with a larger patch and that seemed to hold air OK, so back into the rim and all well till the pressure came up to 30 psi, when hiss of air said start again! Correct pressure is 35 psi... Anyway the patch had lifted very slightly at one point and losing pressure. The adhesive just wasn't strong enough, so buy a new tube, insert and bingo - job done! Overall it may have been my fault in not using the kit correctly (without instructions) but I doubt it. I think these patches might get you home on your bike in an emergency, but maybe not....

Easy to use.
Previously I repaired punctures with glass paper, rubber glue, a patch and some french chalk. Then came the grandchildren. Now it's just check the tyre, check to tube and file to roughen the surface then apply the patch. So much easier.
