The media could not be loaded. The purpose of this tool is to hold the bit at the correct angle for drilling certain types of holes. It is also supposed to control the depth of that hole. Everything that should allow you to do this is contained in the package. But unfortunately, the parts do not fit together properly. The collars that are supposed to guide the bit spin when the drill bit spins. They don't screw firmly into the block , so basically as soon as you start your drill the collars separate themselves from the block. Kind of defeats the entire purpose of having the tool. It has one job, guide the drill bit on a straight path, it does not do that. If they milled this thing properly, it would and should work great. But unfortunately poor workmanship means the product is essentially useless.But wait, there's more. Of the three sizes of collars they supplied, two did not screw in, as described above. The third size, the smallest, actually did screw in properly. It was not the size I needed but it would have to make do for a project that I bought this for. So using the smallest drill bit size and the smaller collars, I started to make my hole. Within 2 seconds the drill bit snapped.It is puzzling, that a product with no moving parts, that is milled from a solid piece of metal, can still fail so miserably.

Have not used on a project yet, just tested on scrap wood. Seemed to work fine but would buy nicer set if was going to use alot. Would worry about alignment if clamping wasn't secure. They make some more expensive but easier and quicker jigs.

I ordered this because my original Pocket hole setup only had one size hole . This meant that I could only Use it on half inch wood, leaving out capability of using smaller thickness wood. This has a smaller bit which works extremely well when you get the clamping of the block down. as a matter o fact This was the only set back, it takes a bit to figure out the best spot and way to get it clamped to you working pice, keeping it from wobbling around.I hope this helps you in making your decision easier...
