The shoulders on the kimono were a little tight on the top over shoulder part. It doesn’t feel tight at all, but the way it rests makes the sleeves flare out a bit, although this isn’t necessarily bad. Fabric is light and pretty comfy, I washed on cold and put in the dryer (despite the directions) and it holds up fine just take it out earlier than the other items.

This simple jacket makes a great pajama top or something to wear around the house. It is unlined, but very comfortable directly against the skin. It does run small, though. I ordered an XXL to get a comfortable fit when I usually am on the L/XL boundary.

This is almost exactly what I have been looking for. I deducted one star because it fits like a 1x and not a 2x. Men's 2x shirts and jackets run large on me for the most part. It would be nice if they made it in a 3x size. Then I suspect that it would fit beautifully.

The quality is good and light. I bought three in different colors one size up for a perfect fit. Very comfortable and the cranes are a nice touch.

Sleeves should be squared. This is a westernized version of what you're thinking it is. If you're looking to complete that cosplay, this is not the choice. Material is very thin and light weight. I can't put this on over my kimono, it looks horrible. The sleeve style makes the kimono sleeve bunch up uncomfortablely. The size is off too, if this is supposed to be worn over something, you will need to order a size up from what you wear.

These wear smaller than their actual size. Order one size larger for good comfortable fit. Something that stuck out to me was that it is supposed to be authentic Japanese, but it’s made in China.

Contrary to the answered questions saying to order your American size, the one we received was sized very incorrectly. I wear an XL, bought the 2X because I wanted it baggy. To say it was too small was an understatement; The strings couldn’t even be tied, and I was afraid the shoulders would rip. I’m 5’3 and it barely dusted my pant line.My husband, who wears a medium, was able to get it to fit him (though it was very short - he’s 5’8, 140 lbs for reference). We won’t be keeping it for him either, because at $30, this is not the quality of sewing or fabric that we could justify spending on. The fabric, though lightweight, is see-through and feels like a slightly more linen broadcloth.
