We purchased this costume for our local organization to have in a parade, it was a huge hit (adults and kids loved the lion) I would totally recommend this costume to anyone.

The media could not be loaded. Amazing costume for the price! Used as a school mascot costume for our schools sports event. A little hard to breath inside but you have to breath out of the eyes. This is definitely for a tall adult.

You can't go wrong for the price of this costume. You get the head, the body suit with a tail and mitten hands which do provide openings so you can slide your hand out of of the mitten, and then separate shoe covers. It's decently made.- the only complain I have it's like a hybrid of a lion and scooby doo. I wish it was more lion "esque" while still being friendly looking. It zips in the back.It's okay to see through, but I would be care using this at night - very limited view. It's very warm.I wish it had whiskers and "friendly teeth". I also plan on putting a pillow in the stomach area to give it a fuller look. It does fit me:5'10" male full frame at 215lbs.The price is really good though for what you are getting, so I would suggest this product! Shipped quickly!

Excellent product - fits perfect for average adult. Embroidery has been excellent and survived many events with kids tugging at this lion costume.

We are part of the Lion's Club and my husband dresses up for parades and events. His old costume was getting too old and needed dry cleaned each time so we chose this costume. The costume itself is perfect and the mask looks great however where you put your face there is a big bunch of material and you will literally suffocate. We had to buy a different mask from a different company to go with the rest of this costume. Very disappointing and would not recommend.

Extremely hot and difficult to breathe and talk

Ordered this costume for use in Lions Club activities. The workmanship of the costume is excellent except for the head of the lion. The actual appearance is fine and displays generally a very friendly lion, especially where the costume is to be used around young children. The body suit has been constructed well and provides enough "fullness" to enable most people to wear it; those people of small stature might want to pad the suit with a pillow, etc., to fill out excess fullness while wearing it. The reason we have given the suit only three stars is because of the difficulty in breathing easily while wearing the lion head portions of the costume. The head is constructed with excess padding which crowds the wearer's face; in addition, ventilation within the suit head is only provided by the black screening serving as the "eyes," thus enabling an intensive buildup of heat & moisture within the head which in turn discourages wearing it more than a few minutes at a time. The heavy padding apparently serves to form a firmness to the heads construction. We sent an email to the manufacturer "DressupAmerica.com" requesting any ideas to use to aleviate this problem, but have not received a reply. We are attempting to see if we can provide sufficient ventilation through the mouth area by modification. We would recomment to the company that they consider other possibilities for the head by constructing a partial lightweight facial mask out of fexible plastic or paper mache to provide the facial fullness usiing an elastic strap around the head to hold it in place. The excellent facial impression (now used) could be continued as well as the fake fur placed on and arouond the mask, wiskers, etc. The top and back could be covered with a lighter material without excess padding as the elastic strap will hold the mask in place. This type of design could allow for adequate ventilation through a redesigned mouthpiece to alllow proper breathing of the wearer. We wanted to use this suit in parades and/or other Lions club functions, but the present design of the head drastically reduces the time it can be worn comfortably. We would appreciate any assistance from any source as to their recommendations for improving the head ventilation for the suit.
