Great game, don't understant the hate by so called reviewers
I really enjoy this game. Il loved the first Army of Two. The second one was a big disapointment in my opinion but this one brings back the franchise where it belongs.I don't understand why reviews by Ign and Gamespot have been so hard on the game. It's filled with great action, good graphics, fun gameplay et despite what they are saying, the game hasn't lost its soul. There's still funny lines and co-op actions to do. In fact, co-op is one of the plus of this game. Co-op dedicated game are so rare.Yes they took out some things from the previous two installment but this game doest not deserves a 5.0/10. It's much more like 7.0 or 7.5. Sure the lacks of multiplayer may have affected the rating, but why do a multiplayer that sucks or that nobody will play anyway ?I hate that today, reviews by popular sites can destroy the sales of a game or kill the franchise itsell. By example, Duke Nukem Forever. Me and two of my friend (3 sales) where gonna buy that game but didn't because of the bad reviews. Sure, In that case, the game sucked. The thing is "Army of Two Devil's Cartel" is rated as bad as this game. It's NOWHERE that bad. I almost didn't buy it because of the reviews. I would hate regret it deeply. Please got some consistency with the ratings. I something am seriously questionning myself on these sites. It's like, you didn't pay us so we're gonna bring your game down.Anyway, try the game and judge it by yourself. I really love it and hope the franchise will continue."-Running in front a machine gun is insane-Isn't that what we just did ?-Yes, but we're Awesome!"Lost it souls?! No way! Thanks for reading.

Great Co-op game!
Great co-op online and split screen. The only thing I'm not a fan of, is the lack of parts for each and every gun. You can't customize your pistols in this one sadly, but you can paint all of your guns with some wicked colors and patterns. You can even make your own custom masks too!I'm not here to sell the game's options to you, the game play is fairly good, lots of action, and they throw a lot more curve balls at you in this flick. The story is great too, yet another curve ball. No spoiler alerts but, you'd never think it would happen after the last two games. If your looking for a game to play with someone, this is it!

Great game, that you don't hear about often.
I was looking for a co op game that I could play with my girlfriend, that I would actually still enjoy too. The gameplay is smooth and incorporates co op perfectly. The best part is I can set my difficulty to Hard, and the 2P to Easy... that was great. The upgrades flow seemed slightly dull or at least no improvement over the first Ao2s. I wish it was a little more exciting. The system is fine.. it's just sort of like, you already start out looking bad ass / nice weapons. So the difference between level 1 and level 100 is not as steep. If I had started out in dirty Tshirt and a Glock... then worked my way up to looking bad ass, it would of "felt" better. Small complaint for a great game... I hope they keep coming out with these.

A Guilty Pleasure
Firstly, I have never written a review for a game or anything else prior to this. The only reason I am is because this game is A) a hidden gem and deserves to sell way more copies than it has and B) It's the first game this year that I have liked it enough to get all the achievements in it.Having played the other AoT games with the first being my favorite by far - I was a little nervous about purchasing it when I heard Visceral was going to be taking over the development of this game but they did a great job. I purchased it day one at Amazon and at Gamestop (because I forgot that I had it preordered) so I got the Rapper mission dlc which is actually a pretty fun Contract mission. This game shifts away from Rios and Salem (the main characters of the previous two) and on to two new guys, Alpha and Bravo. The story is intentionally cliched and silly (the main characters make several jokes about how lame it is). In that way, AoT3 reminds me of 50 Cent's Blood on the Sand which was the same way (if you don't have that game stop reading and go buy that now instead) - a crazy story just to provide an excuse to go all over and shoot everything in sight. They did get rid of some of the mini games from the first games (Paper Rock Scissors and the air guitar stuff) which isn't that much of loss really. The graphics are awesome and I definitely recommend installing the HD Def graphics pack if you have room on your hard-drive.A previous review said the screen was too cluttered and it definitely felt that way to me at first. Once you kind of learn what to pay attention to and what to ignore you get used to it really fast. The controls seem clunkier to me on this installment and it was harder for me to get my guy to drop into cover whenever I wanted (kind of like Spec Ops The Line - Great shooting and story meets horrible controls). My favorite feature and the thing that my friends & I play most in this game are the Contract missions which you get after beating certain missions. These are so much fun - you have limited overkill and the goal is to keep shooting everything in sight or your overkill runs out and you become vulnerable to enemy fire. There 4 of these but you only get 3 unless you preordered from Gamestop which kind of sucks because the GS mission is really fun and I wish everyone got a chance to play it.Insane difficulty is actually not too bad but I recommend playing with the computer because it does a great job of staying alive and reviving you until about the last 3 levels. It was difficult but not overly cheap which is about the highest praise I can give.I'll close by saying this is one of the most fun coop games that I have played since the original Gears and well worth the money at the current price of $39.99.

I loved this game... and Im usually a big video game critic
I've played Army of Two and the 40th day.... they were pretty fun but this game blew both of those games out of the water. The story is entertaining, the charaters are pretty awsome and the customization is 10X better than the original games. You can choose what tattoos you want, what you want to wear, create your own mask which is awsome....This game is a great game... and unlike all the other Army of Two games..... this game is LOOOONG.... and I loved every min of it. I see alot of people crying that they killed the franchise... blah blah blah....grow up.....so you can't play rock, paper, scissors anymore and you cant slap eachother or high five anymore..... who cares? This game is awsome...
