We bought these to hold ID badges in a jail environment where security is tight. They needed to "break-away" in the event anyone was ever attacked and their lanyard was used to control or hold them. We tested the lanyards and they broke away nicely and were able to be reconnected with no problems... good as new.

They’re not very durable
When I purchased them I assumed that they were not very durable that’s why I bought the package of 50 but overall I’m satisfied
