FujifilmXC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS Lens

I'm no photographer so I'm not going to give great detail and I've only just got it so it's first impressionsIt was bought as a novelty to allow a bit closer images when allowed without cropping normal 55 mm lens without the bulk of a big boy fuji lensMy fuji is an aps-c mirror less so its light and small so as a first extra lens I didn't want expensive and heavy zf styleThe xc is light plastic a couple of cm longer than 55 mm lens but balanced brilliant for camera and plastic feels and looks the part not at all cheap n nasty lookingAs I said I can't or won't commit to picture quality comparison this early just to say the focus noise a tiny fraction noticeable and slow but OK for my purpose and the first few snaps it does the biz ,looking forward to a proper comparison in a few weeks hopefully,I'm confident I'll get the results I'm looking for i.e no bells and whistles but a step up in versatility over 55mm cropping

Lens looks to be in great condition, I have not tried it. I was expecting it to be brand new. Since it's not a gift for someone and is for myself, I'll give it a try and most likely just keep it. I don't see anywhere in the listing that it says it's a refurb or open box (packaging indicates at very least open box). Will give it a try on the weekend and report back. Would just like listings to be a bit more clear about what one is getting. Shipping was amazingly fast. Ordered at 3pm ish and received it the next day.

Leute, was für ein geiles Teil!!!Ich habe viele Jahre das 50-230 Mark I gehabt und war immer von Schärfe und Auflösung begeistert. Leider hat es sich vor Kurzem verabschiedet und ich habe es gewagt, die Version Mark II zu kaufen. Gewagt, weil die Geschichte umging, dass es generell nur dann etwas taugte, wenn ein bestimmter Mensch bei Fuji-GB die Feineinstellung vornehmen würde. Was daran auch immer stimmt - mein Mark II ist hervorragend! Auch an der X-T5.Das Motiv auf dem Foto ist ca. 1,7km entfernt, Himmel bedeckt.

My wife and I share the lens. It is my wife's first experience of using a long lens and she has been pleasantly surprised and pleased at how easy it is to use. I normally use Fuji XF lenses on my Fuji cameras and I was not expecting a great deal from the lens. How wrong could I be? The results have been good and much better than I expected. Although the lens has a small aperture I have been able to take really good pictures in a church and holding the camera at full zoom.

On m'avait dit qu'il pouvait être sombre à cause du manque d'ouverture et c'est vrai dans certaines conditions. Mais pour le rapport qualité prix, je suis heureuse de la qualité des photos
