I bought this as a refresher since I already speak a little Arabic. It not only reminded me of the basics, but it also had new vocabulary I hadn't learned before. It's a great portable refresher to bring with you, especially if you won't have access to electronics while traveling. I bought this along with "Arabic Grammar (Quick Study Academic)"

I love that it’s waterproof but mainly this a great way to start learning Arabic. This will help me start a conversation.

Good and convenient product BUT please revise to make the text much larger.

love it. easy to see, boys color, and not the boring black - great addition for the best arabic program (U of Texas and Georgetown University) i have ever found after studying two other languages-very efficient, innovative, and many comparisons and contrasts and reviews all the time.

So I'm taking Arabic 101 at my college and the bookstore had suggested purchasing these quick study guides. I wish I had looked at the one in the store first (they carry this same one) because I wouldn't have purchased this.It has A TON of useful phrases and information on it but until you know how to read Arabic, it's pretty useless. There's no transliteration on it so you really have to know Arabic letters and cursive to be able to actually pronounce the words.This is not at all the sellers fault, nor is it any fault of the product itself, I really blame the college for suggesting these to a class that is learning the alphabet and will spend the majority of the semester just trying to learn the letters and read.On the flip side, at least I have it now so that when i am fluent in reading the alphabet and reading, I will be able to learn the vocabulary from this guide.The seller got this out to me pretty quickly and the transaction was smooth. No complaints :)
