Q: I need to replace the vacuum pump on a 2008 Subaru Tribeca Ltd. Is this the right part. (HELLA 009428081). Do I need to get a vacuum pump switch as well?

I bought this part for my 2009 Subaru Tribeca - it was identical to the Subaru OEM one that I replaced. You do NOT need a switch if replacing an existing identical pump as the ECU does the switching.

Q: Where is the exit? I see the vacuum port but wherebl does the exhaust exit

On the back side where the black cover is under it.

Q: Will this pump fit a 2007 Subaru Tribeca b9?

Dont think that is the correct fitment. May not have enough power. Tribeca one is same as volvo

Q: Can thia be used in a continuous duty cycle, i.e running all the time? I want to replace the manual vacuum pump in my 1986 Isuzu Trooper DL TD diesel.

First off, cool car! The pump works fine for continuous use. However, I would suggest wiring it with a relay and a toggle switch. When in heavy traffic or idleing for a long time the pump can overheat. Try to mount it in a place where it gets plenty of airflow. Also be careful starting it in extreme cold because the condensation can freeze and cause it to self destruct.
