Works great! Problem is the wiring scheme on the device doesn’t match the inputs. 568B wiring and input 1 connects to input 3 on the other end, it’s like it’s random.. I didn’t sit and log down which input went to which output on each end, but guaranteed port 1 doesn’t match up with port 1 on each end, but all 4 cameras work so who cares.. I would just think they would put a more clear-cut diagram on the device itself.. thank God I checked all the ports.

I wanted a box that would convert an Ethernet plug to BNC connectors for a test instrument and this inexpensive box fills the bill. All you need to do is take a pair of needlenose pliers, twist off the balun transformers and the small surface mount components from the pcc, and then solder in eight jumpers. No milling or drilling needed and you have a nice, EMI-proof converter box.

Trying to connect 4 cameras over Cat6. Was getting interference using standard balans, installed this device and quickly noticed a difference. Picture looks great over Cat6 100ft.

These are a bit weird. I'm not sure if they are designed to not work correctly unless all 4 channels are being used or not. But when only 2 or 3 channels are connected they would have cross talk where one camera would display on multiple channels and flicker between cameras. If I plugged in all 4 channels it would display just fine. 3 stars cause they do work but take a bit of patience to get them to work along with the described issue.

Unfortunately from the many of people who purchased this without a problem we bought 2 units and 1 was bad and with one bad we can't finish our job and we had to buy another brand locally so we can finish the job and the unit we keep works but we can give more than 2 starts because we don't know if this unit will keep working or not and also we have to return the second unit because channel #3 was not working from when we installed it; according to them they test this devices and I don't saw any labels where it say QC (quality control) date and year and signature of the person who did it, maybe this have low prices because they came out of the production line, who knows. The units are not white like their pictures shows, they are silver grey aluminum color what it is ok. The issue was internal because we tried to use the wire connectors and the RJ45 connector and both fail to pass channel #3 so this unit was bad from day one. We are waiting for our refund and we may buy more in the future but we will wait to see what happen first with the unit in used for the next months.

This box is a great solution to my problem. I needed to connect security cameras in my deteched garage, to the DVR in the house. I had a one inch conduit, but running more than two traditional cables along with an Ethernet cable was a pain, due to connector ends and cable size. With two of these devices, all I had to do was run a single Ethernet cable for up to four cameras. Image quality seems great too. Definitely a good product for my needs.

Worked as it should with No issues or hassle. I call it a win as it was cheap and worked like it should.My only issue is that it should be sold as a pair as you need both ends to use it, but that is an amazon thing

works great. will use this for all our installation from this point on.used it for AHD cam 720 and works like a charm
