Saved me from an incompetent plumber
The cost of this tool is well worth having a backup plan in case your plumber is incompetent and you don't know how to solder. Don't ever start a plumbing job even when hiring out without a tool like this as a plan B even if you decide to hire a plumber, and keep a push fitting on hand as a plan C.

Look what I did
This along with all the plumbing to move a water line in the basement I was being charged $4600 and I refused to pay that for a simple plumbing need. I am a DIYer so I tried it myself and did all the plumbing myself and this tool worked really good. The only problem is it's heavy and hard to get in tight places but I figured that out. Its a great choice because of the price because the electric one was expensive, but it does the same jobs you just have to take your time and make sure the pipes reseated deep in the connection.

It works perfectly fine
A plumber will charge over $100 to come to your house to make a single copper connection. This tool is well worth the money. I’ve seen people complain that it will break easily. I believe that most of these people are gorillas who haven’t figured out the nuances of tools and machinery. Follow the instructions, don’t drop it, and don’t use it as a hammer. You’ll be fine if you can do these things.
