This right angle XLR solves the issue of wider Wireless transmitters not fitting side by side.
The spacing of XLR inputs and outputs on BOTH my mixer and mini (Sony shoe mount ) 2ch mixer are typical. However the wireless transmitters and receivers I chose to use are wider than the regular spacing allowed on both the multichannel mixer and the camera XLR connectors. Using the right angle connectors with a short tail at both ends of Ch 1 or 2 solves the crowding issue. Works fine with a minimum amount of extra length- 6" and no perceptible noise.

Most of the low rated reviews are incorrect
To those who mentioned that the right angle was facing the wrong direction, I found it extremely simple to modify. I loosened the 2 screws on the right angle side, removed the cover, grabbed the barrel of the connector and slightly pushed in. Carefully spin the connector the direction you need to go and pull the barrel back out again. Replace cover and you're all set. I modified 2 in less than a minute. Obviously you'll want to be careful not to over spin and break the soldered connection, but a little care is all it takes.Sound quality and profile of connector was perfect for me. Exactly what I needed.

Works really well getting audio from Shotgun mic into camera. No problems using these on two different cameras with RODE shotgun mics.

Did the job well
Used with Sennheiser ME66 shotgun mic and JVC GY-HM 600 video camera. Did the trick. Fits perfectly.

Good but with caveats...
They work well. If you don't need to change the angle, they are perfect and extremely rugged. However, they CANNOT be rotated without disassembly and lots of careful modifications. They have white plastic shields in the connector and they are glued in place.They are also keyed to prevent them from being turned 180 degrees without SIGNIFICANT modification.All these modifications probably voided any kind of warranty.The 3rd from the left is the factory location. This is obviously a terrible direction if plugging into a mixer. Keep this in mind if you have any kind of of controls on the side of the single center pin of the XLR.
