Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush Watercolour Brush Pens (Set Of 24 Colours)

I was interested in buying some Tombow pens but was really pleased I got these instead. The pens are unique in that they have real fibres rather than a felt tip, so are great for general colouring and drawing but also lovely if you want to try watercolour painting with buying another product. The pens blend beautifully together as they are but can also be blended using water for a more water colour effect. There is a ton of tutorial videos on YouTube for these - they are so versatile.I must mention the excellent customer service from Kuretake too - fast service and answered a small query very quickly and efficiently.

Love, love, love these colouring brushes. So glad I discovered them!The colours are bright and flow easily, and mix well to get different colours or tonal shading. They are also very versatile - from colouring stamps or freehand work in card-making or scrap-booking, to colouring-in books, to watercolour painting.I wouldn't give up my watercolour paints or colour pencils in exchange for these, but they are a great addition to my craft toolkit.

These are expensive pens and if you only want them as straight forward felt tips I would recommend a cheaper brand. HOWEVER, these pens come into their own if you use them as watercolours. Lay down some colour on a hard surface, use a waterbrush and they blend and colour combine beautifully. I dropped a star purely as I would have liked a different colour assortment but that's just a personal taste. I've never been disappointed with Kuretake.

Absolutely brilliant watercolour pens. The colours are really vibrant and mix well too, the brush end allows the paint to flow really easily and you can get into the tiniest little areas with the fine tip. You can scribble a little of the paint onto an acrylic block and then dilute with water to get softer tones or, depending on what card you've used, you can soften the colours direct on the card. Best thing I've bought in years and I intend to add more colours as you can buy them singly as well as in the packs. Would thoroughly recommend them.

These are my first Zig pens and I am thrilled. I got a great price and they were delivered within 48 hours. The storage box is very convenient and the range of colours in the set of 24 is fabulous. I will be using these Zig pens for adult colouring and bullet journal embellishing. Although they won't replace my Tombow dual ended brush pens, the Zig real brush pens are an instant hit with me.
