Good option under £100
Was really tight on my budget having just bought the samsung uhd tv but i am an audiophile and couldn't have watched netflix etc on that tv speaker. This seemed to be a reasonable option under £100 and i was looking to give jbl a try for sometime now. so far, i am liking it. Has enough rumble/bass to enhance the action sequences. The dialogues are clear too. Not something that will shake your room but this is plenty loud enough and i always find myself lowering the volume during action scenes to avoid waking up the neighbors. Don't look elsewhere. Good enough for any living room. I would have bought bose 300 soundbar if i had the budget if not then bose tv speaker but this will do for now. I still like music better on my bose soundlink mini se though. But i am satisfied with the purchase. Makes watching action movies a treat. !!!Update: 15 months of usage now. Still does the job. Again bass is not room shaking but it good enough for small and medium size living rooms. I would soon upgrade to sonos beam gen 2 and sub mini. But i am glad i gave jbl a chance and it didn't disappoint at all. Connect it with a hdmi cable that came with it and it definitely enhances your tv viewing experience. Thanks.

Great value for serviceable soundbar
I have 2 of these bars, one I use in a large high ceiling lounge and the bar is perfectly serviceable for normal TV usage. You won't get full booming cinema sound from it, for that you'd need to spend 3x more. But where it does best is if your TV speakers are crap, and you just want your TV to sound normal.I got the 2nd one recently when I got a new TV for the bedroom and the sound was unusable tin can style (cost 65, when i think my first was around 120, so great value now). Took 10 minutes to mount to the wall (comes with attachments and screws/plugs), the attachments leaving a 2cm gap behind to easily cable up everything. Also if not wall mounting the soundbar is nice and compact so should be able to fit on your tv table under the tv.

Superb
I bought this to replace and aged sound bar which has final stopped working. I am absolutely thrilled with It and you would gladly pay more for it . I bought just for every day use for watching classical concerts or Opera etc I plug my tV into my hi fi for surround sound, WHilst lets not pretend the sound bar is as good as my hi fi, it certainly punches well above its weight and handles everything well, whether it be news programmes, drama, sporting events etc. The dialogue is always crisp with other elements of the sound track well defined. EVen the latest James Bond Blu Ray was impressive with a very spatial sound and quite an acceptable bass via a very small built in subwofferSo for general everyday use this perfect. Very easy to operate and looks good. FOr the money you cannot go wrong.

You get what you pay for
I use this in a home cinema set-up wireless connection from a Firestick plugged into a projector.I'd considered much more expensive options for sound but ultimately decided to try this as I have other JBL speakers which have never disappointed me.The soundbar was well packaged and damage free. Build quality was exactly as expected from JBL - excellent. There was a wall bracket included with easy to follow instructions. I installed it on a plasterboard wall under the projector screen. The sound quality from this is excellent for the room the speaker is used in. It connects easily to the Firestick with no sync issues at all.I have no negatives to give. It works well and was a great price.

Impressive
I ordered this as my new Samsung TV doesn't have the best sound at all.Nice unit, hides just under my TV between the stand and looks nice. I plugged it in and that was it for the set up, no faffing, automatically works with my Sky remote, step one, painless! The sound is great for what I need, my room isn't massive and makes a HUGE difference in the sound quality. Voices are clear, nice amount of bass and pretty loud! I'm super impressed for a cheap soundbar.

not for that kind of money
Photos are not needed here. This soundbar looks great. Everything that could be seen is hidden behind a perforated panel. And if you can't see it, I'll tell you. This soundbar doesn't have eight speakers or six... it has two small speakers and a cavity that creates something like bass. This soundbar does not play on £68 (this is the price that is indicated at the time of writing the review). If you bought it expensively and listen without using Dolby Atmos and DTS technology, you will be offended. Bluetooth music is transmitted through the SBС codec. It's hard to enjoy music with this codec and two speakers. The soundbar is not bad, and even excellent... ...if it costs £50-60. But not for 68 pounds (on the site of Argos it was sold for as much as 99 pounds! who even buys it for that kind of money???).This southbar is nothing more than the cheapest JBL flip in a different case, without a battery, without moisture protection and with a connector for connecting to a TV.

It's okay I guess
I got this for my living room smart TV which I use to watch Netflix. The room is quite echoey so I wanted something that would direct the sound towards the sofa. For this, it does somewhat work. The sound quality is a little better than the TV's built in speakers too.Unfortunately I find the treble too weak and the bass too strong. I found myself constantly raising the volume to try to hear voice and then having to turn it back down again. Not great when I'm trying to enjoy a film.I'd say it's okay, probably tolerable for the price, not great otherwise.

Great Value For Money
I bought this to replace my Samsung soundbar which was equivalent to the JBL. The Samsung was tempremental with its connection to the TV and I was never convinced the sound quality was that good. The JBL is vast improvement in build, sound and connection reliability. I used he HDMI connection into the ARC HDMI connection in my TV and the bar connects automatically each time I switch the TV on. The Build quality is superb. The sound is excellent for the money, the bass is good (not earth shattering). I bought this when it was on offer at just under £100.00 so very good value.
