Q: do these require any additional stands or are they self standing once folded out?

Self standing!! You need nothing else.

Q: I purchased two vflats but I only received one in the mail?? what should i do?

When you order a set they arrive in separate boxes sometimes one can come a day after the first one. Don’t worry you will get both. If you have any issues you can email us directly. Info@vflatworld.com

Q: How stable are they in the creases? What keeps them from folding in half? What are they hinged with?

They are hinged with low profile velcro which locks the boards together in an upright position. The are folded in half when you unhinge the velcro. The creases are very stable and we guarantee to deal correctly with any out of the ordinary situations in which there may be an issue. (Thankfully a large majority of our customers don't have any issues and we continue to make improvements to our product).
