Imperial Barber Grade Products Bergamot After-Shave Alcohol Free, 9 oz

The cons that people list say it's too lightly scented... true, it is, and fine by me. I'm a cologne guy, that's where I get my fragrance from. Another con that's mentioned is that there's no cooling effect... also true, but no big deal - that effect would only be momentary anyways. So... those things don't matter much to me, but the product seems a bit pricey. However, running a business and selling on amazon costs money, and I have no problem with someone making money on a good product, so whatever. Also, I live in LA and these guys are from LA... I like that. Plus - I pay $12 each for a Casamigos & Soda, like five or ten times a night on weekends, and they literally go directly into the toilet. This bottle will likely last me a couple months as I rarely shave. I shave far less often than I drink (I don't recommend that.)Ive made my own basic after shave before and I might again, with witch hazel and oil (and perhaps a bit of fragrance.) That's what's great about this stuff - no alcohol and it's gently moisturizing. It's exactly what you want in an after shave lotion. Yes, like you, I have been conditioned to believe that 'after shave' is kind of a pseudonym for 'cologne' and it should be alcohol-y and heavily fragranced and should either sting your face or cause a cooling sensation. You want that, go get some Brut or Aqua Velva. This Imperial After Shave is a post-shave treatment to sooth your skin. As such, it's really good! Just shaved and used it and my face is absolutely the softest skin on my body right now. I mean my gut may be softer but that's only because my face doesn't have 15 extra pounds of body fat underneath it. Damn carnitas tacos.I will probably try some more Imperial products. In the meantime, though, I'll let you know what I purchased along with this. This aftershave was exactly what I was looking for, the scent is pleasant, but non lasting and not overpowering in the slightest, which is what I was hoping for as I have perfumes already. As an aftershave it’s fantastically non aggressive while still leaving my face feeling cool and tight, and the witch hazel, along with the lack of alcohol, makes it amazing for razor burn or irritation, as for the longevity of the bottle, using it nearly every day, I think this bottle will last me well over 6 months, if not a year. Cannot recommend this enough! Okay

I was looking for a new aftershave to replace my old standby which is out of production. My one requirement is that it's not super strong smelling so it won't clash with my cologne. This aftershave has a light sent that subsides quickly. It's alcohol free but there is a slight refreshing sting! Even though the scent is light, it took me a little bit to get used to the initial scent once you splash it on.

Love this stuff. Great after a shave.

Fragrance is too light

No alcohol! Smells great, a little goes a long way. Just dab on a cotton pad, put a few drops into the palm of your hand or the corner of a cloth rag, apply, and your good to go. Can be used as a toner or as a after shave to soothe irritation, disinfect, and prevent razor bumps.

Like the product but the pictures show a drip cap on the bottle and it came with a spray mist top which is a pain to use with a splash on after shave.

The right mix of fats and fluids to restore razor burned skin. This stuff feels great after using a sharp or dull razor. This is a very wet aftershave, not a gel or cream. A masculine scent, with a base of citrus and nuts, hints of musk. The scent lingers, but is not a cologne substitute. It eventually dissapates and takes on a faint, fresh, clean personal scent. This will not burn your skin. Completely balances the shaving experience.
