I have to take glucose readings for my diabetic senior cat and was struggling with the lancets provided with the AlphaTrak device. I dieted these separately and they work really well! I can get blood on the first try. They do completely puncture the ear. But it’s a one and done! And they are very easy to use unlike some lancets. I highly recommend these!

Was struggling for months using readily available 30 gauge lancets. Was very difficult getting enough blood from the elbow area, and was wasting many test strips. Performed glucose curve this past weekend and the 21 gauge self contained lancets drew a sufficient amount of blood for each test. And best of all dog did not seem to be in any pain. More pricey than regular lancets but well worth the price.

My cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I wasted a ton on money having vet place continuous glucose monitors that stayed on her for 5 minutes. She gets extremely stressed going to vet so I am monitoring her glucose at home. I live by myself and she is not an easy cat to handle. They are quick, precise, minimal sound and she doesn’t feel it. I highly recommend especially if you are a beginner.

Simple to use and check blood sugar levels. We use these for our dog and she doesn’t seem to mind the poke.

These lancets are much easier to use than the traditional way to test blood sugar.

We bought a glucometer which came with its own lancet device. It was awful! So, we went back to Amazon and looked for just the lancets and found this one. It is PERFECT! It punctures just enough for a good blood supply for the glucometer, but it doesn't hurt or scare our cat. I highly recommend this brand!
