They are comfortable! I listed this first as I have a bad back. Until I got these I had to sit on a backless stool and suffer or eat sitting on the sofa. (bad idea).They are a quality product. They’re as gook-looking and well made as others I’ve looked at for more than two times the price.The colors in the pictures on the ad are accurate! I was concerned as I was looking for a match to the wood on our table. These do— perfectly!They are sturdy and swivel perfectly….so easy to get on to and off of. They are very attractive.Assembly—— here’s where the only negative comes in. All the pieces were there. Instructions were not of value to my husband who has built everything from an RV, to a house. It would have been so helpful to have detailed instructions for each step in English. He did succeed in putting them together. I couldn’t have done it. My suggestion, if you’re not handy by nature is to invite a talented friend to help you and then feed them dinner using your new stools. Or, simply (but costly) have them sent to you already assembled.P S. My husband said, “assembling them was part of the fun.”.My parting comment is, do not let the lack of ease in assembling deter you from purchasing. They truly are an incredible stool at an incredible price.

First off, I was very impressed with the packaging. They obviously put thought into it to avoid damage during shipping. These bar stools are made of REAL WOOD! They are high quality. I was surprised to find such a great bar stool at this price! I bought 10 of them for my large basement bar. Assembly is easy. The first one took me about 30 minutes. After that, it took me about 15 minutes to assemble. I highly recommend these stools! I can’t say enough about them. I am very satisfied with them. I still can believe you get this high quality stool for under $200 for 2 of them!!!! If you are looking for either a counter or bar height stool, but these ! They are comfortable and swivel 360 degrees. Very sturdy. Beautiful stools. I just bought 2 more of them.

Looks good when assembled. Assembly is not difficult, good picture instructions, just tedious. The Allen wrench furnished is difficult to insert - for much of the assembly, I ended up using a ball end wrench from my tool kit. Unfortunately, with the seat and a few other connections, the structure makes it impossible to do quick turns from the long end of the wrench nor a full turn with the short end, meaning you need to remove the wrench after each turn, and reinsert it for the next partial turn - that's what I mean when I say "tedious." However I had nothing else to do today, so put on some music and took my time. The finished product looks great and 29" is the perfect height for my old bones to comfortably work at the kitchen counter. Seems comfortable - nice thick seat for my rear end. Foot rest works for me.

Amazing looking stools and look made well, I chose the cushioned bottom and back variant, I'm glad I did as in the picture I was very worried the back cushion would be hard and amount to nothing but a $60 price extra... But the seat and back cushion are pretty good, is worth the extra money for sure on comfort and overall look. The seat itself is bigger than I thought it would be which is great, so it'll definitely cover your bottom, plush enough.The backs are semi sturdy, they do the job great, I just wouldn't full weight lean back on them over confidently, and you'll typically be leaning forward on the counter anyways, but they're good nonetheless.All cushions including the back like I said are bigger and nicer than pictured and better than expected. The darkish cherry wood looks of high quality and I did a full slow spin on the seat lolz and it was butter smooth no noise nor worries. They're full sized as well. Sometimes companies carry good looking items in pictures, yet they end up a little petite in person than expected, it's happened a couple times with patio sets or couches online. So no worries about that, these are normal sized.Highly recommend, zero complaints, arrived early and all above expectations. Much better than all other options I could find on Amazon... I would have paid whatever up to $300 to find a great set that's attractive and made well, fortunately I only had to pay nearly half and I'm more than happy.I'm 5'10 and about 220ish ibs, so if you're any shorter or lighter than me, then I'd say you may be even happier than I am as the less weight should mean more confidence of longevity and less carefulness needed when using them. But yeah, you can feel certain that my weight or similar height, is competent at the least, so you can feel pre safe with these!

It's comfortable and attractive. But be advised that the leather is fake and the painted wood is weak. It will crack under pressure. Assembly was a major pain for one person, especially the need to hold the heavy and unwieldy back piece and seat together while trying to coax the hex bolt into the hole. The same chair is much cheaper at Home Depot if you don't mind waiting a few more days for delivery. But overall I'm satisfied. It looks great and it's comfortable.

As much as the product seemed sturdy & good quality, the screws can loose very quickly causing one of the legs to break. Which in my opinion would have been easily resolved by the company sending a replacement leg. However the phone number & email address provided by the company 'Ball & Cast' doesn't exist or are unreachable. An amazon representative had to resolve this by offering for me to return the product or receive a discount. And seen as a 3 legged stool is of no use I have no option but to return the stool.
