Q: Should I keep feeding this food if our fish are already very large?

I cannot advise. The fish have to eat something. If they have access to natural food then you could reduce of eliminate the koi food. Try to find a pond expert who can give informed advice. Try the Garden Pond Forum on the internet.

The med-large pellet is approx 1/8 inch, about the size of a BB. The large pellet is approx 1/4 inch, about the size of the back of a thumb tack but round. hope this helped.

Q: the label says okay for the winter, i just wanted to see if anyone has tried it in the winter?

It says winter because it is a wheatgerm based food, making it easier to digest. We still practice not feeding our koi if water temperatures are below 50. When the water temperatures are fluctuating above and below we will feed this food. I have several customers who feed year round and use this food. Our lowest water temperatures are probably low 40's

Q: Size of pellet in hai feng: small, medium large?

The pellets are called "medium large." They're less than half the size of Hai Feng's "large" pellets. We have some fairly large fish but also smaller ones. All do fine with this size.
