ESD straps aren't supposed to have continuity
There are quite a few reviews claiming the strap is fake because it does not show any continuity between the band and the prong. However, that's intended as these bands are generally fitted with a very high resistance (atleast 0.75 Megaohm per 250 V). The resistor ensures that the wearer does not get shocked if the prong makes contact with live wire for some reason. Continuity tests essentially test for near zero resistance, which would be undesirable in an ESD strap that's compliant to safety standards.If you really want to measure the effectiveness of an ESD strap use the megaohm reading in your multimeter.Well that's about it see ya.

Fake product
The media could not be loaded. Dont purchase it .It's a duplicate product The spring wire is made of plastic so it can't catty the static charge of your body to the earth point for discharge .You may test the continuity but it's no respond because it's a fake product.If you purchase this then your moony will be west like me.
