Great headphone for softphones
Great single sided headphone for use with softphones. I am using this with a Cisco softphone and also with Lync running simultaneously and while the end call button on the headset doesn't work correctly with the Cisco and always activates Lync everything else works correctly and am sure that if I only had one software running then the headset would work perfectly but my workplace uses both so I have no choice but to have both running in the background on the computer.

Does not get loud enough
I use this headset for work. I've been using it for over a year now. The materials have held up very well, it still looks brand new and there are no kinks in the wires. The volume control is responsive and the mute/unmute is instantaneous which is *essential* in a dialing job. My main issue is that the volume simply doesn't go up high enough for some calls. I regularly call elderly people and often find myself unable to hear them speaking even with the volume maxed. One of the features that drew me to this model was the long cord length. It's one of the longest cords in the corded headset market (my job requires a corded unit) but it's still not long enough to walk around or move out of your workspace at any meaningful distance. It is long, but it only really serves to get in my way because I have to spend all of my time 3 feet from my monitor anyway. So I have 3 extra feet of cord coiling up, getting in my way and it's more annoying than freeing.

Not what I'd expect from Sennheiser
I found this headset to be uncomfortable to wear and it did not feel like it would stay in place. Also the sound quality was tinny, with no body in the voice. Sennheiser is known for audio quality and this isn't even close to quality. Perhaps the headset is defective. I returned it for something better and won't choose anything from Sennheiser again.

Light weight, Sennheiser sound quality
I would prefer a volume control on the line. However, the sound quality and lightness give it a 5.
