I thought this was a great kit to get me started with baking sourdough bread. I prefer this style scoring blade because it’s not limiting. KitCame with extra blades and a leather blade cover. The baskets were smaller than I was expecting, but my loafs also bake really nice in size regardless so I don’t find it a problem. It works out to be about 11$ a piece and I felt I could justify that as a lot of baskets are about $25+ a piece. I have no regrets in getting this, I use everything in it and love it. I find they are the ones that come out with the best ears and design visibility vs the ones that I make in regular bowls with a t-towel or cheese cloth covered in flour.

This package is great for the beginning bread baker. I love everything in it, they all work so well, with the minor exception of the Danish Bread Whisk. I can't see how it's more efficient than a wooden spoon, & it's quite difficult to get the dough out of all the little nooks & crannies. Maybe I just need practice, but I've been baking for so many years without it, & I don't think my baking has suffered with just using a wooden spoon or my hands.The Bread Lame is excellent, very easy to use; the proofing baskets are great - you end up with a lovely textured dough, & loaf crust. The stainless steel scraper/cutter is excellent - very sharp, but you do need to coat it with a fine layer of flour so it doesn't get stuck in the dough. The plastic scraper is fine, if you like using those - I prefer to just use my fingers, because I can get a good feel for my dough, but that's just my preference.This is a really good kit, good value for money. Highly recommend.

This bread making kit comes with everything you could ever need to start the bread making process.
