Holy smokes ... why buy anything else?
An unbelievable bargain. As a simulation user I am very happy with every aspect of this mounting system. I noticed a review that stated that the height was not adjustable, that is 100% totally false. Everything is adjustable on this mounting system ... everything. I am currently using this first one to mount an VKB F-14 NXT EVO Combat Edition Joystick. I am getting 2 more to mount a VKB STEC Mini-Plus Throttle system, AND another to mount my Logitech G-29 manual gear shifter. The product is amazing at this price point, and I was a Machinist / Tool Die maker for 40 years, I am not easily impressed and there is no way we could make a better assembly especially at this price point. We could make it, but nowhere near the price point. The only VERY MINOR issue might be with the plastic end caps, and that is easily solved by taking a cigarette lighter by heating up the ends for (seriously) just a split second and letting them cool down to achieve a super tight push in fit ... split seconds, you do no not need to melt anything.I can't imagine why anybody would buy anything else after getting one. The mounting hardware they send you is overkill, you get plates, straps, and an assortment of mounting screws, wingnuts, ETC that will fit just about any peripheral on the market. There might be $20 bucks worth of the stuff left over after you mount your device if you had to go to a hardware store and purchase it. The mounting plates come in 3 different shape and have so many mounting holes and slots for whatever you want to mount the options are almost endless. It may look like some simple stuff, but there was a lot of thought and designing that went into this simple assembly. The finish, the packaging, the quality of materials is amazing. I used to do Navy Nuclear work and NASA stuff too. When I got this from China, I thought to myself ... I hope they televise their first Moon landing ... cause they're gonna' do it. It's that impressive from a manufacturing perspective. Simple elegance. Why would anybody buy anything else? It's a no-brainer.

Excellent space saver, but the endcaps leave a lot to be desired.
The unit itself was easy to assemble and fits my desk space perfectly for a Airbus TCA throttle with side carts. However my issue is with the endcaps. They seem to fall out unless they're secured with adhesive. Otherwise the calmp design makes it easy to move or store as it disconnects from the desk easily and installs with the same ease once assembled and adjusted.

Works Great!
I first bought a Juyeer mount for my throttle. It worked great so I decided to buy a 2d for my stick. Unfortunately, it was sold out. I ordered the Hikig mount because it looked almost the same. And that's because it WAS the same--another Juyeer mount. I wasn't upset because that was what I had actually wanted.Despite the caveats in some of the reviews, these mounts work as advertised. I think the problem is that the instructions are pictures. No text. And you have to intuit how things are supposed to go.For example, if you set up the clamping mechanism as it looks in the diagram, that is on a north-south axis, it won't work. But it works fine if you set it up on an east-west axis. The diagram also suggests on the front of the instructions, that if you use the mount for a "bar-type" X56 setup, you do not need the provided mounting base. But on the back the image shows the mounting base installed, and it should be because it provides greater stability.I also have a glass desk and worried about that. I clamped the brackets over either end of my 36" desk pad. I also added a metal plate on the underside between the clamp and the glass. This protests the glass and spreads out the pressure on the lower edge more widely. The first clamp I installed two weeks ago has not moved since! Both feel secure as hell.

No vertical adjustment
This is a VERY sturdy product, as I was putting it together I was very impressed by the materials. The instructions we a bit lacking, 80% pictures and if I hadn't put together similar items in the past I might have been a bit lost.Unfortunately upon finishing putting it together (took me about an hour with distractions) I discovered there is no way to adjust the vertical height on this -- the base of your controller will ALWAYS sit 12 inches below the top of you desk. For this reason alone I am docking it 2 stars, otherwise it would be a 5 star item.

This is not the mount you are looking for.
It allows me to mount the throttle/stick to my desk, sure. But if the entire mount is flexing/warping every time I press a button on the controls, it's not worth the effort it took to manufacture this thing. Horrible. The stick is only secured by two screws resulting in the entire mount flexing side to side whenever you move the stick. This is the worst possible solution if you're looking for a sturdy mount.

Easy to assemble. Sturdy and simple to take on and off.
Absolutely love this. Its milled aluminum that's easy to set up. Its able to accept a variety of Stick and throttles that is on the market. Easy to take off and remove for when not needed. Fully adjustable on vertical and depth slides. Recommend fully for those flight sim lovers that want to mount a stick a d throttle.

Can't do much better for the price point
I have been looking for a compact way to mount my Thrustmaster T.16000M HOTAS on my relatively small desk. I purchased two of these, one each for throttle and stick, and they are perfect for my needs. Sturdy, easy to adjust, and easily removed when not needed. Instructions are adequate. For $65 a pop, I cannot complain.

They work and seem good.
Put them together with my Logitech x56 HOTAS. So far so good no problems. Just a little here worried about the sticky skinny sponge or whatever it is to protect the computer desk from marks. Looks like at any given time it'll rip off. I'm just going to come up with a different solution as soon as I can. But other than that it's a go. it's worth the price if you ask me.
