Very well made IA. I demoed it to replace my Elex-R amp that could sound a bit harsh and bright at times. The M5Si does everything I hoped for, smooth and warm sounding, effortlessly drives my Emit M10s, better built, sweet top ends and plays louder without being strained. I don't use the built in DAC, though. One thing that the Elex-R does better: pace/attack, but the M5si suits me better for long sessions (less fatiguing). The phono stage is very good. This thing runs hot, so make sure it sits in a reasonably open space.
