Works very well, takes 4AA batteries, been using it for a month now and is still going strong. Grind action is quick and strong, no issues there.Unfortunately the button is crafted very poorly and is slightly offset, still works but is annoying and the plastic grinds and snaps on each other.One of the plastic tabs locking mechanism broke upon arrival, but still works as there are other tabs securing it.Overall, works very well but don't expect a quality-made product.

Don't buy them my ones packed up within a week.it was like the power was on all the time and drained the batteries.

I ordered/received 2 as a gift. The first arrived broken: cracked plastic chamber and would not turn on with batteries. Returned & replaced. The second model arrived with signs of functionality: sensor light activated, motor ran when the chamber was empty. But as soon as peppercorns were loaded in, and the grinder encountered physical resistance against them, an automatic override disengaged the motor. It was a built in shutoff, and nothing would coax the motor through doing the grinding. It wouldn't do its job. It's an attractive looking gift & price range, but with its non-functionality, gifting one is just an exercise in paying for "It's the thought that counts" instead of practical equipment. Returned for a refund.

I love these! I recently ordered this product as my arthritis has made it increasingly difficult to use the manual grinders on some days. This was so easy. As someone who really enjoys her salt, I'd often be grinding for a while with my old manual one. This one goes at the perfect speed, not too fast, not too slow. It was simple to use. It has a sleek style that will match any taste. It's a solid feel, made with high quality materials. Would definitely purchase for a gift. Thank you!

Shipped on time, but when I put batteries in the salt grinder nothing happened, then same with the pepper grinder. When I took the top off the base to see if anything was lose I noticed that one of the wires was missing as well as its corresponding pin in the top. I checked the other grinder and same thing. The company was understanding and cooperative they sent me a new set, which took 2 months to show up. When I opened the new grinder they had the exact same issue. 4 grinders all missing a wire and a pin each, not one worked. Now I'm waiting to find out if the company will refund my money.Great and attractive product in theory, terrible experience and worthless product in reality.
