Good all around kitchen knife
The packaging is lacking. My knife came in damaged, slightly bend cutting edge, and the paint was chipped in a few spots.However, the damage was minor and with a quick use of my honing rod the knife was sharp again. This is fairly common for high carbon steel knives but the advantage of using high carbon is the ease of sharpening and how sharp the blade can get.Although I was a little disappointed the knife is painted black and not anodized. It is a purely cosmetic issue and doesn't effect how well the blade cuts.All in all the knife is a good value and does a good job of slicing veggies and meat.
