Surprisingly effective and great looking
I've tried a ton of mats to try and eliminate static from my cheap LP60 (felt, rubber, cork), but decided to give acrylic a try as nothing really worked well. This appears to have entirely resolved the issue. I've had no static using it.It also looks mesmerizing. The acrylic platter catches any light in your room and makes the entire thing glow. It's beautiful to look at and could easily fool you into thinking it's powered or has LEDs inside. For such a simple product, it does what you want and looks much better than expected (I got the yellow one). I'm tempted to buy more just because the color looks so cool. One note - it has very little friction, so if you clean your LPs while on the turntable you'll find them slipping. Even just dusting them with an anti-static brush can cause slipping. I haven't heard any issues when just playing a record, but it's worth noting there's some slippage.Recommended, especially if you have static issues on a cheap turntable and a cork mat hasn't solved it.

Seems to make some difference
I can basically confirm what other posts have stated: it seems to help a bit with sound, but don't expect anything crazy. My feeling is that this is primarily about reducing static. In that area, I do believe it is working. I was using a felt mat and that was a nightmare in comparison to this acrylic mat.As someone else noted, there is definitely some slippage with this mat when cleaning while in use. I while run a brush on my record while it is turning using VERY little pressure and it will still slip a bit 9 out of 10 times. Not a huge deal and not scratches are happening to the groves, but it is still something to think about. Also, I ordered the blue mat and it is almost invisible. A bit of a bummer as I was hoping the blue would add some nice color to my turntable. Oh well. Not a biggie. All in all, I am happy with this mat, especially when compared to my previous static hording felt mat I was using.

Surprising Sound Compared to Rubber Mat
I put this slip at on my audio technica turntable to compare to the rubber mat that came with the turntable. I do believe I can hear a difference in terms of clarity and possibly better bass. Less static noise compared to the rubber mat. The slip at was very nicely packaged and there were no issues with delivery. My only criticism is that I wish the mat were darker in color. I choose the blue slip at and it is mostly transparent with a hint of blue. Still adds a cool look and different option to use. All around a good purchase!

Heck, why not?
So I got a AT turntable for free with no mat. Figured I would give the red one a try. A bit darker than expected but no issue with that at all. Just a note that if you think you are going to get a color and it's going to light up like a Christmas tree you will be disappointed. It does not emit any light at all. Still, it looks nice installed. I did have a rubber mat from another turntable I could use and compare it to. Like others the bass seems a little less flabby and real. I would love for someone to run some tests to see the effect. As far as static goes I don't have a issue with that so hard for me to say. On that note I can say that a lot more is going to, and does stick to a rubber matt. With this platter a one second wipe and all the dust ect is gone so you are not putting it down on the crud. As far as slipping I just don't see how 2 grams of pressure could make it slip.

Perfect solution
I wanted a 3mm slip mat to level the tone arm which it does. However, it also works extremely well as a slip mat and I love the color and accent it adds. Another benefit is the ability to set anti-skate while spinning. It arrived on time, well packaged, has the label indentation, and is completely flat on the platter. This is a very good value.

Eye Candy!
I absolutely love this bright pink acrylic slipmat. I purchased this slipmat a little less than a year ago and have no interest in replacing it. The acrylic is thick and stable and the color “pink” really pops on my clear acrylic record turntable. It’s definitely eye catching from across the room while the mat also helps to stabilize some of my thinner records, ensuring a much more satisfying happy hour at home to gratify all of the senses.

As presented
Works great. Appreciate that it has a label cutout on one side while the other is flat. Options are good.
