These knives cut very well but unfortunately even though it states they are dishwasher safe all the coating on the blade part of the knife is coming off and bits transfer to the food that you're cutting so so this is a bit disappointing.

I live in a very small flat so every bit of space is valuable. Being able to stick a knife storage rack inside a cupboard door is very convenient (so I can avoid a knife block on the counter top, or taking up extra room in my kitchen drawer).In that respect the Joseph Joseph DoorStore does the job. It's compact and easy to fix to the surface with the sticky pads. It feels securely attached and I have no concerns it will fall off.But... the four knives that come with it are very disappointing and make the whole thing feel like bad value. (Even allowing for way less than £10 per knife).The main problems are that the blades are incredibly thin stock and extremely flexible. This would be desirable in something like a filleting knife, but not for a 5" Santoku, or a 6" chefs knife. It doesn't inspire confidence while cutting as they just feel flimsy, weak and almost 'wobbly' while cutting. They do come extremely sharp though, and while the steel (X30Cr13) is pretty average it will make them easy to sharpen and the coating will help with stain resistance. The handles are also comfortable.Overall I'd much rather have paid around £9.99 for a storage solution without knives so I could have bought some higher quality ones from other manufacturers.

Very disappointed.It's fallen off the cupboard door 4 times so far which is really starting to annoy me!And the chopping boards itself are no better than the cheap ones you can get for a couple of pounds. Hardly used them and they are so marked and scruffy. They mark with every single cut. Really disappointed. Total waste of money.I usually rate Joseph Joseph stuff quite highly and have a fair amount of their products, but this one definitely falls short of all expectations.Don't waste your money.

I was initially disappointed that they were somewhat smaller than I had envisioned but O..M..G!!! There’s ABSOLUTELY NOTHING small in their performance! Razor sharp (from an ex butcher that’s saying something!) and lightweight with a fantastically comfortable ergonomic grip in these cleverly designed ’Elevate’ gems from Joseph Joseph. I was thinking of getting some more of their knives but in all honesty, I don’t need any more because these do all the jobs I need them to do.
