Worked perfectly - killer deal
Worked great for my 2001 F250. Seems as solid as the OEM. Super easy to install. Fixed my shifting issues.

The F250 starts now
Had to put it in neutral to start it until I replaced this switch. Now it starts as it should . Park and neutral both work to start it. Lots of rust so switch was hard to replace, but I did it. BTW it shipped pretty fast.

Part fit perfectly and looked to be good quality. Shifter on my F350 is nice and smooth again and fixed my no start issue.

Make sure to compare this to your current sensor. Check the location of the metal bushings. Otherwise A-OK!
Worked with modification on a 2004 F150 5.4L. Make sure you look at your range sensor and make sure the metal bushings in the picture match what you have on your vehicle. I had to move the bushings from the old sensor to the new one to get a correct fit, since I didn't double check before ordering. It's moderately difficult to move the bushings. The 511-100 is actually the correct application but I didn't feel like waiting on a return and extra shipping time.

Worked great!
The range selector was pretty quick to install and fixed the random shifting issue that my E350 had.

Great product, fixed my hard shifting issue
I bought this sensor because I was having issues with my truck not wanting to start due to not detecting the truck was in park or neutral and also because moving the shifter was very difficult. It fixed both these issues! To take the old one off, I had to use a crowbar and essentially bend it off, it popped off and some of the plastic ring was a bit damaged. In order to put the new one on, I had to file down a bunch of rust that had accumulated on the knob, once I did that, it fit snugly with no issues. Works great!

Made in Taiwan, ROC (Republic of China)
There were some annoying issues out of the box. After removing my old sensor, I discover the metal spacers are in the wrong slots (as in the photo here) for my F150 4x4. No problem I thought, I gently wiggled out the spacer and put it in the upper slot in line with the other to fit my transmission. Connector fit perfectly and at first glance as I started to re-assemble to the transmission, I noticed the spacers still didn't look right to me. It turns out not only were they in the wrong slots, but double the thickness of the OEM unit and could not be mounted as is. I ended up breaking the spacers out of my old unit and then gently installing them in place of the crap spacers put in this one while in ROC where it was made. Look at the photos closely and compare to yours. Save your old switch just in case this one does not fit perfectly out of the box. A 15 minute fix turned into over an hour, and still didn't make my back up lights work.
