Works very well!
We have an early 1960s Grundig console radio that doesn’t get great FM reception but sounds great. We wanted to stream app based audio to the Grundig. We found phono DIN-5 port on the back, bought this DIN-5 to 3.5mm audio cable to complete this project. We plugged everything together, used this cable and the J22 3.5mm to Bluetooth adapter. Our J22 had 90% power on arrival (yay!!), held down the play / pause button for 5 seconds until we saw red / blue flashing, paired to an iPhone and in seconds we heard great sounding audio!!Thanks for making such a cool / nerdy product.

TRS-80 Computer Friendly
You can use this cable to drive an external powered speaker for sounds on a TRS-80 Model I/III computer. The cable uses a stereo output so you will only drive one side of a stereo speaker, so either use the balance on the stereo or (if using a portable speaker) leave alone and should be fine. The cable seems good quality and molded on both ends. Recommended for the retro use (which I know is off-label).

Very frustrating. This is _not_ a MIDI cable.
I bought this to use as a MIDI Type A cable, but it isn't. After several frustrating attempts to use it, I finally used a continuity tester to check the connections at each end. The cable is in fact a completely different configuration than either MIDI Type A or MIDI Type B, meaning that it is simply not compatible with MIDI devices. The cable may fit physically, but the connections are not compatible.

Won't Help You Digitize Old Vinyl Records
I bought this to connect my old B&O turntable & receiver tape jack to an Griffin iMic, feeding into my laptop, so I could digitize old vinyl. But no signal comes out of the tape jack, even though it is purportedly both an input and an output jack. I figured if I had a B&O tape deck, I'd be able to get a signal from the turntable to the tape deck, so the same jack should send a signal to the computer. But it doesn't. Now I'll have to buy a different cable and try the direct-from-turntable to iMic approach.

NOT MIDI Compatible
The description is wrong. These cables are audio only and do not work for MIDI.
