ZWILLING KRAMER EUROLINE Damascus Collection 8-inch Narrow Chef's Knife

Beautiful knife! This knife has been in the box since I purchased it . I was waiting for Bob Tate to get set up in his new location after moving from Seattle to have it sharpened. The knife is not sharp out of the box with a slight burr on one side of the edge. Taking a close look at the knife you can see the spine is not perfectly straight. The rivets are proud with the micarta handle and the bolster is also proud with the handle, not alot, but enough that you can feel the raised areas. A knife in this price point should not have these quality control issues. I would not recommend this knife to anyone until quality control can be verified.

Excellent knife, sharp, feels good, handles well. Finish and appearance is impressive. I'm not sure if it really is worth $299, but similar Carter and Cut Brooklyn knives cost 2-3x as much, so it's probably a good deal.

This is a the best knife that we have ever owned. My wife is a great cook and having such a well balanced and ultra sharp knife makes food preparation a breeze.
