Had a curry dinner party. None was left afterwards

I was very unhappy that Crosse and Blackwell stopped making their major grey's chutney. I tried other chutneys and could not get the same flavor. I tried this product blindly from amazon and there was the very flavor I missed. The shopping costs were ridiculous. The product was very well wrapped and came in great shape. I paid the shipping to get the flavor and through gritted teeth, will do so again.

Flavor good but not great.

This is the chutney that is very difficult to find in the store. The best by far!

What can I say - the texture of the product is fine, but the flavor isn't particularly interesting. Perhaps if I had ordered the more intense/hotter version I might feel differently - but I was disappointed in the flavor.

I make a dip for entertaining and the Chutney is the star component. Taste delicious and you can also serve on a charcuterie board as an accent.
