Must for anyone with painful feet
I hesitated on these shoes, because they're about twice what I like to spend on shoes. The pain in my feet finally got so bad I knew I had to do something, because I can't just sit around for the rest of my life--and that's what I was doing, because walking hurt too much to do it for long. They do help with the pain, but it's not something that immediately works--you've got to wear them for several days/weeks before you'll notice a difference, and when you first put them on you almost have to work up to wearing them for long hours. Now, I can walk all day like normal--amusement parks here I come! And anytime I think they don't work--I'll wear my normal shoes, and at the end of the day (and especially the next morning) my feet are on fire again, so yep, they do work & back to these shoes I come. I've worn 2 different pair of these daily & they are sturdy construction

Heaven...
Buying shoes is always a challenge. I have flat feet, over pronate, have had multiple foot surgeries, and still have three surgical pins in my feet. I usually wear an 8 wide and ordered these shoes in my usual size. I’m so glad I did. They are great right out of the box. The toe box is slightly narrower than I’d like, but I know they tend to loosen up a bit with wear. The arch support is top notch. I don’t even need to put my normal arch supports in these shoes. The ones they have are great. I usually wear $160 new balance. These are more comfortable and less expensive. I plan on buying a few more pairs.

Good for pronating, OK on Plantar Fasciitis.
These are good and I'm happy with them. The only problem is the width in the heel is a bit wide. Other than that, they provide good support. I'm considering using my hard orthotics in them to give a bit more support.

ok shoe but.....
they are great shoes, great material and design, good fit,and stiff enough for plantars fasciitis, the insoles however are not so good.I have been wearing them according to the recommendations on the box but no matter what they still cause me a lot of pain, they are foam through and through and are not stiff enough so it doesn't take very long for them to conform to your feet instead of correcting your posture. I have swapped the Orthaheel insoles out for Superfeet insoles with great results! I'm not sure if spending $100 Plus on orthaheels is warranted considering any other stiff shoe with good Superfeet insoles may give you the same results.

Feet miraculously don't hurt when I get home from work. Have plantar fasciitis.
Ordered a half size up because of my plantar fasciitis and because my arches have fallen a little. they are a bit loose but will be great with my wool socks in the winter. Can be tightened with laces I'm sure but don't want to fix what's not broken. Worked with water on the floor-- no problems.

Orthoheel walking shoe
Love Orthaheel brand for my flat "older" feet-- For this shoe I ordered a wide with in my regular size as Many reviews said it may run slightly small in regular (med) size -- this worked perfectly as I needed the extra room in this shoe-- wear an 8 reg. usually in Orthaheel sandals and flats(have about 6 other styles in this brand)-- but the 8 wide(C-D width) is perfect for me in THIS shoe- my first Orthaheel walking shoe. If you have more narrow foot- the regular size may fit-- but I have a small bunion on one foot- and cannot wear any narrow or tight fitting shoe -even to "Break it in"-- too painful! On first trying these shoes seem very comfortable right out of the box. -- but I'm very USED to wearing Orthaheel shoes-- the ONLY brand of shoe that keeps my arthritic knee from hurting when walking or on my feet a lot. THANKS Amazon for offering these shoes!

Two Stars
Tried these on upon arrival and they were too small. Had to return for credit.
