Not a perfect Gy6 fit
This item is much longer than the standard 150cc Gy6 intake. If you don’t have the free space to move the carb back about an inch, it won’t fit. I did not.

Great replacement for rubber/metal ones that crack. Need modification for use on go-karts
If you have a kart, you probably have dealt with the rubber/metal intake elbow cracking by the mounting bolts. I found this replacement and thought it would solve the cracking issue, but it introduced a few other issues. This was installed on a kandi spyder 150. Note the installed photo, the new elbow is a different angle and is longer then the original causing fitment issues. As you can see it hits the engine cradle support, preventing the use of the stock airbox. To get it to fit, i had to shorten the rubber adapter 1/2"-1". I used a clear solid thick walled tube from home depot with a pod style filter.Also note, from the casting process, there is a big ledge on the inside from the way the part was made. 15 minutes with a grinding stone/sanding rolls to open the inside and port match with carb. Seems to work good.If you want to use the stock airbox, avoid this replacement part. Also note, it is a tight fit under frame, it does not make removing carb/reinstalling after tuning easy but you don't have to worry about failing intake elbow allowing vacuum leak/dirt being sucked in.

If you’re thinking about it go ahead and get it
This style of intake is my first superior in those cheap little black pieces of rubber that split. At least with this you can replace the boot.

Nice but didn't hold up
It was nice out the box but the boot tore within a week so im debating weather or not to get another one. I have the locking cuppler it was a nice product just wish it lasted a lot longer.

Not what I expected
Said it would fit my 150cc Tao Tao. It did not. It would of been the perfect touch if it fit but it made it impossible to install my carb, no matter what I tried. If it worked for you I’m happy for you.
