Q: The stand no longer keeps my phone angled, it just flips down. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a way to get it to work again?

I have not had any issue with the two that I have. Depending on how long you have had it, perhaps you can return/exchange it. If it's been a long time though, if it were me, I would probably just glue it into the perfect stationary angle. Or maybe even use scotch tape. Not an ideal solution by any means, but at least it would be usable. Alternatively, pull it off, put a very small amount of toothpaste on the ball and replace the head. That little bit of friction might be enough to keep it in place...and it would smell nice :-)

Q: Looking forward to use it as Continuity Camera stand. Does the head actually spin 360 so back camera will face toward me without rotating the base?

No, not even close. Neither the head nor the stem will spin. My unscientific guess is that the head has about a 45 degree side to side range and about 165 degree up and down range (the phone can be perpendicular to the desk but not fully horizontal).

Q: Can I use this with the MagSafe charger?

No.This stand is not compatible with MagSafe charger.It is just a magnetic desk phone stand.
